**Is Miguel Cotto Prime, Past Prime, Pre-Prime, Pre-Shot or Shot?**

He's in his prime. He'll be an elite fighter for atleast 5 more years.

 

he's dead in his prime.. he just fought a top notch opponent in clottey that's why he didnt look so dominant.

It's like pac when he fought marquez.. people thought pac's dominance was over after he escaped a split decision win against marquez. And suddenly he destroyed 3 bigger opponents.. Cotto's next!

 

He is in his prime until proven otherwise. Who knows, he might be Pre-Prime?

As long as a fighter is as physically good as he ever was, including speed, power, timing, stamina, reflexes etc then he is prime IMO. This disregards when a fighter is properly damaged mentally, ie guys like Judah for example, and possibly Lacy (though his demise may well have been that shoulder)

Cotto has proved I think in the Clottey fight that he is still where he ever was as a fighter. He still hss the haert and determination, so physically and mentally he is all there, and thus prime.

 

See Vargas-shot before 30...this could be Cotto but probley not. As far as being overhyped, every so called star is overhyped at the moment. Let's settle down with this Mayweather is God ****, get them both in the ring and we'll see who is the better man.

I agree with YBFake. Anything but a prime champion fighter doesn't finish the Clottey fight. Cotto is the picture of a dignified champ. But I still hope Pac wins so he can kick Mayweather's ass.
