Actually, he is probably only behind Hatton and Khan in terms of popularity.

Back to the OP, personally, I think it is a great line-up and I am looking forward to all of the fights :good

    You lucky sonofabitch.
The super 6 and obviously pac v cotto needs to be picked up tho for a great fall of boxing on uk tv. Sky have been there to cover the press tour for pac cotto so hopefully there in talks with arum n hbo.
If they wasnt interested in showing the fight they would not be on this press tour especially as they already have a team following mayweather marquez over there.

thats not saying much when you're trying to sell a PPV, behind khan who's not exactly very popular, plus the gap from hatton to the others is huge.

maybe its just where i am (remember i'm in London) but Haye is no where near as big of a draw as he should be certainly not big enough to carry a PPV imo, it depends on what their expectations are i guess.

Haye just hasn't been promoted right. I would've had that mormeck fight on terestrial no matter how much less chicken, these guys have to look at the long term sometimes.

some casuals way've heard of him, but are they really gonna fork out the 15 quid? i doubt it

Well remind me not to do one of these threads again! Pac v Cotto will be on Sky there is no way they'll announce it just now. It's the foty and sky wont miss it. I fear though that we will miss out on Froch.

At one point watching Audley annoyed the **** out of me, but now it's quite comical. I hope he loses bad.

    I probably agree, they won't.

But that's Sky's call to make.

I can't complain about £15, like Highlander says it's the price of a few drinks / a round. Your Sky monthly fee simply doesn't cover any and every big fight AND the football...

I'm well revved up for this next couple of months and we've had a good start with the Fury and Simpson fights.

Some people are only happy when they are moaning.

    Seconded.

To be honest I think October and November (October especially) look awesome, compare them to last season's Friday Fight Nights! Sky seem to be improving, fair play to them.

So a grand total of 5 people will get to see Haye fight for the title, he could not fill his kitchen with fans never mind attract enough people to watch him fight on ppv. Complete waste of time.

Matthew Hatton being on tv at all is a joke. His entire career uis an embarrassment and the fight is shite even when compared to your average commonwealth afrobum battle we get on Friday night fights.

I dunno think your being a bit harsh there, ok its no world title fight but he's fighting a hard fight, and his last 2 wins have been decent enough.

I can see people disliking him piggybacking his career on his brothers and not 'earning' his breaks but that last part of your post just isn't true. N'Dou is still a decent level operator, just watch the fight for what it is. I think its reasonably well matched (after Hatton beat Tackie) and could be interesting.

If you really can't bear to watch it we could always petition Sky to show some Athletics or Sailing in that timeslot instead....;)

I can't believe people are moaning about boxing on TV.Probably the same people who made all them threads and the Setanta/BBC petition and bitched and moaned about the lack of coverage.

I think HairyHiglander said something similar earlier but I didn't understand a word

Hats off to Sky, that's one hell of a schedule. There isn't one weekend on it without boxing on:yep. Plenty of domestic action and all are interstig fights.

Yeah this is a great line up,don't know what the moaning's about. Boxing every weekend for the next few months is going to be a treat after the last couple of months we have had,so just enjoy it,and make sure and watch it to keep them showing the sport.

Would love the Super Six and Cotto/Pac as well. Surely one of Sky or ESPN will get these sorted.

Pretty surprised David Haye v Valuev is on Sky Box Office. Not really sure how well that will sell. October looks a great month for boxing however.
