I am hoping an improved Belfot comes in. He has the skills but never really used them because he either lost or won with his blinding hand speed. Hopefully, he has he **** together. I don't want Rich to lose but I think a new improved Belfort would be a great addition the the UFC.

So if he has been training with couture, I would expect that he has improved and honed his skills.

Technically Rich should win, but Belfort can't be counted out.

I am going to go with Belfort.

I'm thinking Belfort overwhelms Rich with his quick hands and gets the TKO late in the first round.

    Another hidden poll :-(

Oh well, I voted Belfort but he`s the most hot & cold elite level fighter in MMA history so nothing will suprise me.
I try to be optimistic so I`ll assume Vitor is coming in hot like he did vs Lindland.

    Belfort by TKO rd 2.

You guys are serious about choosing Franklin? I think Belfort's found new life training under Couture. He is going to blitz Franklin. Rich is solid and dependable - but Vitor is in that elite class with guys like Anderson Silva. Franklin will have no answer for him.

Well, I guess the majority swung to Belfort before the actual fight.

Thats how I felt it was so damn shocking. I was what a 3-4 minute fight and Vitor threw basically nothing then he throws one punch you barley see and Franklin slumps down 3 more super fast punches and its over. I swear if you took a long blink of the eyes you miss the finish. Kinda reminded me of Couture-Liddell III you got settled into that fight then 1 quick right hand and 2 quick punches overtop Couture and its over or even Liddell-Evans they almost come out of knowhere. Very shocking to watch and you dont never know what to say its like ............. with your jaw at your chest.

yeah its why I love MMA, it can really end anytime...
just like the two last fight of Fedor..
especially vs AA.. I was watching it on my PC and ****, I was like : WHAT THE **** HAPPENED???.
Some finish are goddamn fast and brutal
and I never expected Franklin to get TKOed like that really fast, I mean ANderson Silva needed to hit him with everything to get him down, and like you said, Vitor didnt throw nothing really until that point and bam in 2 seconds, its all over, bye bye

Yeah man that all proves just how explosive Vitor Belfort can be I mean Machida and Silva really had to beat Rich down to stop him especially those Silva fights. What a gift it must be to have super fast hands and punches that feel like bricks.

If Vitor keeps his head straight - he is going to be difficult for anyone to defeat. He could very well be reaching his mental prime under Couture's tutelage. His weight is certainly going to be an issue as he is expected to campaign at 185 - but in reality he may as well just stay at 205. He can mix in just as well with the light heavies.

I'm betting on Belfort coming into his prime at this moment in time. He's ready for everyone.
