What would Kessler have to do to be rated over Calzaghe?

    win the super six in donimating fashion. beat Bute,KP,and move up and clean out 175. then go a slap JOe's MUm making him come out of Retirement at 40 then proceed to beat up the old man.

    either way joe will alwatys be ahead

    Win the super-six. Beat a couple of over-the-hill super stars, preferably american. Then agree to a rematch with one of his toughest opponents in hostile territory and win it of course!

    nothing calzaghe beat him in his prime
    calzaghe is the best middle/super/lightheavy weight fighter of the last 25 years

    resume wise Kessler could easily surpass Calzaghe. Winning the super six then winning a few fights against the likes of Bute/Pavlik/Dawson would easily do that.

    But..... as many posters have already eluded to he lost to a 36 year old Calzaghe while he himself was in his prime which makes it very difficult to rate him above Joe.

    He has to win the super 6 tournament and beat a name at 175.

    Kessler can surpass Calzaghe quite easily

    Why does everyone keep talking about 175? Joe had two fights there. Against great but old opposition. Why does Kessler need Dawson, or to clean out the division, instead of just beating Hopkins and Jones himself (assuming they're still stubbornly sticking it out after the tourny ends)?
