At first glance its seems this figh is setup to be a mismatch in which floyd is gonna tank Marquez. Looking at the facts you have a carrer feathrweight fighting an established welterweight in a weight he has never fought at. PBF will have speed, power and technical advantages and even if it comes to points will probably get the nod as a super fight with Pacman is on the cards. However why keep writing Marquez off. Weve all watched Marquez overcome the odds before, he is a veteran who knows all the tricks and is well adjusted to getting into a war. He is fast and technically gifted and seems to have gotten more powerful as he has progressed in weight. Yes floyd will be a clear favorite but Marquez is not the type of fighter you should write off and can still win this if he performs exceptionally (career best)
this will be an enjoyable fight, pacman throws way more punches then Floyd, i don't think its a mismatch.
marquez only chance at this point is to hope floyd somehow gases himself out, which wont happen.....or floyd has a defense lapse, and marquez is able to find the perfect shot on the chin....marquez will give a good account of himself but he is getting stopped late....
i think it will be an aesthetically pleasing fight for us fans of the sweet science, and i think it will probably be competitive on the whole also marquez has a legit chance as far as i'm concerned
There are soooo many threads about this fight. It may not have the hype of other fights, but it has gained MASSIVE interest. I think people know its a mismatch but want to watch: -out of curiosity regarding JMM's performance -in the hope against hope that they might have the chance to see Mayweather get beaten.
