True but it leaves a sour taste in the mouth, why the hell did he have to do it ?

Anyway there are still some good fights on tomorrow:
    Chris John v Rocky Juarez
    Michael Katsidis v Vicente Escobedo
    Sebastien Sylvester v Giovanni Lorenzo

Orlando Cruz v Cornelius Lock and Francesco Pianeta v Matt Skelton might be good too.

But there's no chance I'm staying up till 05:30 in the morning or whatever time the fight will start for those of us on this side of the Atlantic for that main event. I'll watch it the next day...........this is no Superfight.

This what u wrote before you ****ing hypocrite :rofl

i thought they said on 24/7 it was 144......if i was marquez i would make it 147....just because if he was to pull a miracle, it would be even more awsome......and if floyd wins at 147, everybody will downgrade the win, not saying that derogatory way, but no harm done for marquez at 147 if he were to lose...

just make the fight 147.....but I'm pretty sure the contract is 144....

    i dont

i think anybody who cares about boxing should hate catchweight fights if marquez wanted to fight floyd as much as he said he did then why should he expect floyd to come down in weight ? after all its jmm who wanted to move up in weight and fight a welterweightwhich is exactley wat he's getting. so wats the fuggin problem ?

the fuggin problem could be floyd has almost all the advantage for this fight and yet he pulled another one when he weighted more than the supposed 144 catchweight.

fight fans would like to see a closer to an equal match even though we know that floyd is the clear favorite, he just tilted more of the advantage towards him. clever move by floyd coz he knows that jmm badly needed this money fight and would not back out but the chance for that upset could be lowered more. not a fair fight.

it never was a fair fight right from the beggining thats wat happens when a lightweight moves up to fight a welterweight. the fight shouldve been at 147 anyway seen as its jmm who wanted and needed this fight not floyd.

**** marquez he's wanted a multi million dollar WELTERWEIGHT fight and now he's got it

I agree 2 lbs isn' ****.....but it is for PAC when he's fighting Cotto only 1 lbs less than his last fight. The weight isn't a factor in either fight but fans, haters, fanatics, huggers ect..... make it such a ****ing big deal.

2lbs is almost 1.5% body mass. Its like putting on 2 16oz steaks of muscle mass on... its serious if done correctly.

They have too deep of a talent pool to get rid of the weight classes.
2 lbs is HUGE until you get to Cruiser weight and even then - its still 2 steaks of muscle more!!
