Here's the boxers' purses of this fight card... Is this real??

Marquez's base salary is $2 million for the bout. TV undercard combatants Chris John will get $50,000; Rocky Juarez $80,000; Michael Katsidis $125,000; and Vicente Escobedo $90,000.

Mayweather's purse won't be known until Friday because of deductions, says Keith Kizer, executive director of the Nevada State Athletic Commission. The IRS is expected to attend to collect back taxes. According to Kizer, the agreed upon total is "unofficially $5 million."


WBA Featherweight Champion Chris John who beat JMM in the past gets only $50,000 :shock: John can easily make triple that amount fighting in Indonesia... and Juarez get larger amount than the champion, John... It's a big joke and GBP is the biggest joke giving measly purse to boxers like John...

I hate this Floyd-JMM joke mismatch fight card... tsk... tsk... tsk...

I can very well remember when Chris John defeated JMM 3 years ago in Indonesia... JMM's purse for that fight was $30,000 and John probably made double that of JMM's purse so around $60,000.

Now after 3 f*cking years John fighting in the US for only $50,000?? Worst his challenger Rocky will get a larger amount of $80,000 which is not big amount either...

I thought GBP/Oscar is only playing jokes with the fans... They're also playing jokes with the boxers who put their life at stake inside the ring...

Fans knew who won the 1st fight... It's John and odds showed he's favored to win this rematch fight...

GBP robbed John the 1st fight... GBP robbed John with this $50,000 measly purse... Can GBP robbed John again (and again) of the outcome of this rematch fight??

I'm sure John is unhappy with that measly purse... I can remember when this rematch fight was postponed when John suddenly has a weird blood-related health problem... I think it must be related to purse problems rather than a health problem...

Let's say $50k is fair for John then why the challenger Juarez gets $80k ?? This is a big joke... Don't tell me Juarez resume is better... Yep he fought some big name boxers but he lost in those fights... Remember Chris John has a win over JMM, the main event fighter in this card receiving $2 million...

Hope John knew beforehand Juarez is getting the larger amount... You know, you can never trust GBP after they pulled a fast one on the fans regarding the Floyd-JMM guessweight...

Not only that, in May or June, GBP floated around a statement that JMM will be getting close to $4 million and now it's said being $2 million only... Then Floyd rumored to get $15 million and now it's reported as $10 million only...

During the weigh-in it appears JMM has more supporters than loudmouth Mayweather... This is not the first time loudmouth's supporters were outnumbered in his fights... Hatton fans clearly many times larger than PBF's as well as Hoya's fans larger than PBF...

Actually it seems PBF has no solid fanbase at all... I wonder why he still being overpaid with large amount of purses...

Also I don't think Juarez generates more interest than the man who defeated Juan Manuel Marquez... I don't buy that...
