Does Marquez even care about the weigh-in?

JMM looks confident, despite the 2 lbs extra on Floyd.

 

Marquez could care less about weigh-in, it's all about money thats all he care's about, it's a business marquez is 36 years old and beleave you if he had to he would eat **** to get the biggest pay day of his life. and don't be fooled when the fight is over with and he gets that big fat check he is going to laugh all the ****en way to the bank. Again the weigh-in he could care less.....$$$$$$

 

Marquez in the 24/7 said it was not a problem.

 

I was taking a "may the best man win" approach to this fight and was just going to enjoy the event, but the latest developments have me now rooting for JMM to spring one of the great upsets of our time. Floyd already had every advantage in his favor- did he really need to tack on one more?

I agree with everything Rock says. I wasn't really rooting for anyone before, maybe slightly favouring the underdog JMM, but now I'm really rooting for him. Like Rock said, PBF had every advantage without being overweight. He's a professional boxer, he should be able to make weight.

 

MAn Marquez is too much of a bad ass to go bitching about this clown. Just because MArquez isn't making a fuss doesn't mean its all good. Fights have wieght limits. Its a ***** move when you don't train hard enough to make the wieght limit and then show up the nigt before the wieght in and say to the other guy well I'm changing the deal and you can either accept this new deal or ruin a 100 million dollar promotion...your choice. Trust me I don't need marquez or anyone else's approval to know thats a ***** move.

I just hope the reason he's so over weight is because he's not focused and not because the deck was always stacked this way.

 

Well of course the man feels cheated and concerned. After the weigh in he said with a very serious face that he was going to talk to his manager 'but' that the weight would be no problem.

JMM busted his ass for 5 months to get ready, he is not going to pull out at the last minute and let all that work go to waste and miss the chance of a lifetime.

Marquez is a freaking WARRIOR, he will give it everything he's got.:good
