We've got a natural welterweight taking on a smallish lightweight. JMM could still be fighting at 126/130...

What will PBF weigh on fight night? 152? 154?

What about Marquez? Probably not much more than the 142 he weighed-in at.

Not every fighter is capable of moving up in weight successfully, and unless a fighter is possesed of incredible speed/power (like Pac or RJJ), competing w/bigger guys is tough.

I see a mismatch, age-wise, speed-wise, size-wise, and esp. style-wise, and probably power-wise as well...this is another bullsh*t fight for PBF, so that he can brag about still being p4p#1 after he wins.

JMM is too skilled/proud to be completely blown out, but he is just too out-of-his-league here.

I see another boring PBF UD win, after which he'll demand an 80-20 split for a fight against any of the big Welters out there...

Sorry, but I'm done supporting this pos w/my ppv dollars.

I think JMM will weigh approx. 145 and FMJ around 151. I agree, this is a mis-match but anything is possible especially in boxing.

I agree. I dunno why anyone would buy this PPV, especially when you know where your money is going.

So Floyd will weigh 152-154 yet he's never weighed that before.

    Gotcha.

Even Floyd Sr stated Floyd didn't dry out.

Oh, well if his father says so, then there you go.

This is just another example of taking the easy way out for Floyd.

The highest Floyd has ever weighed for a WW fight is 149 which was against Baldomir who weighed in at 162. Floyd dominated him too with his boxing skill. Weight is just an excuse that *****'s use. Skill wins fight not a couple of extra pounds. I have more respect for Marquez though. I think he will take his loss like a man, and not make pathetic excuses like everybody else.

I agree man, this is a mismatch which is why I'm not gonna buy it. Mayweather holds every advantage here.

If he goes from 146-154, he did in fact cut his water to a certain extent. Maybe not to extremes, but he did dry out a bit. My opinion, from looking at Floyd's abs is that he did attempt to make weight.

Mayweather could still be fighting at lightweight, he's not a natural welter.

i guess i'm trying to find a silver lining in the fact that, while i'm upset w/ the recent events, i know i'm gonna buy the fight despite what i say here...so...

    helluva undercard :yep

and at any rate, i'll get drunk enough that the thought of an underdog little guy pulling one out will get me to buy it anyhow

Not to me. He looked like that vs Baldomir where he cut 2lbs.

Did it look like Mayweather dried out extensively? No. Use your head.
