    YOU GUYS ARE INSANE!

On the one hand he gets soooooo much **** for NOT draining himself to 144, AND THEN you give him **** BECAUSE YOU THINK HE WILL REHYDRATE TO MIDDLEWEIGHT!!!!

WICH IS IT PEOPLE! He CANNOT REHYDRATE unless he DEHYDRATED himself in the first place. If he DEHYDRATED himself, THEN HOW THE **** DID HE NOT MAKE WEIGHT????

This discussion is going around in a circle. You all are making me dizzy.

A fighter has an advantage an extra two pounds, but it's not because of the weight he'll add after the weigh in. All things equal, both fighters will rehydrate and get some food in them afterward. So if the 140 pounder gains 8 pounds post-weigh in and the 142-pounder does the same, it's still a 2 pound advantage.

But Floyd's case is different. He missed weight on purpose to secure yet another advantage over JMM. Floyd's the naturally bigger guy, but he doesn't want to put himself in any danger by dehydrating down to a catch weight. He'd rather pay the fine and look impressive than be honorable. And JMM, who is the smaller guy coming up, will be even smaller tonight.

So we'll have a tough, honest warrior making every concession just for the opportunity to fight, against a brat who gets everything he wants except the respect of real boxing fans.

Another one who's never done it.

He TRIED to get down to 144, he failed or quit, but he did try.

If he tried, he dried out, meaning he will put that back on. If he failed it means he could have started from a higher weight as well.

It's so simple to tell who has done it and who hasn't.

You're forgetting that one guy is a bigger man and starting from a higher weight, therefore will put the weight back on quicker, easier, and to a higher degree.

The less the bigger guy has to get down to, he exponentially gains it back more than the smaller guy.

He is a UFC fan and a fight is on tonight. Dont mind him. He just so amped up with red bull and steroids that he cant bring it back down. Plus the anticipation of being blinded by **** and balls on the TV screen has him enticed.

this thread has gone all ****ed up

your take is the same as mine, which imo means he either wants the extra advantage or he has been feeling/looking like he has aged in training and he NEEDS the extra advantage

Dude are you CRAZY? Does THIS look like someone who has DEHYDRATED?

    This content is protected

He hasn't "dried out" at ALL. He's trained, as he ALWAYS DOES. He just didn't make the effort. He walks around at 147-150, has for the last 2 years. He weighed in at 146.

Look at him for the Hatton fight: Dehydrated?

What about when he WAS TRYING to make 150

    HE LOOKS THE SAME!

NOT DEHYDRATED AT ALL in ANY of his fights.

Just stop, you obviously don't understand the weigh in process.

I hear some folks on here saying that Floyd did'nt try to make 144. That defies all logic. It cost him 600k. Not to mention that his abs looked like a guy who was pretty dry. In the pic posted with Oscar, Floyd is flexing his abs.

Floyd never puts that much weight on after he weighs in. Like some people have noted, he is one of the few fighters whose walk around weight is almost the same as his fighting weight. And since when did FLoyd ever become a full fledged welterweight, he is really a blown up jr. welterweight. His frame hasnt really gotten that much bigger in the last few years, unlike Cotto who seems to have really filled out at 147.
