I have no clue how many buys JMM-PBF will do. It doesn't feel like a 'hot' fight to the public but I haven't been following 24/7 and the marketing so I can't say for sure.

I'll put up a poll. What are people thinking? 350,000? Less? More? Give your take here and vote in the poll.

550-600k. The bad press and the haters atomic reaction did not help. On top of this fight actually having unpaid haters going around actually trying to convice people not to buy. Not in the history. The ODH PAC fight was hated on but nobody went out their way and expended the time and effort to convince people not to buy.

That would be pretty good, no doubt. I'm going for around 350,000 or so. But I don't have a good feel, and may be way off here.

If I could change the poll I would add one more category, 500K-750K. And then make the last category 750K+. Oh well.

Normally I would not want these type of mismatch fights to do well, that way the promoters will realize that they are not PPV worthy, and would give us better fights in the future.
But, since this is against a UFC fight, I want this fight to sell well. One of boxing's biggest stars being outsold by a UFC event would be very bad news for boxing.

Thanks, bro. That definitely helps get some real info out there. Wish I could change the poll now.

It's going to be interesting to see how that affects the buy rate, how the UFC fight does, etc.

It's typical Dana White -- he loves to counter-program his competition. Been doing that for years. This will be intriguing to watch play-out.

That's twice as true if the number turns out low.
