he stood his ground and fought a fighter who had every advantage over him and he proved to everyone that he indeed has a heart of gold. lets see if Mayweather fights someone who belongs in the legitimate weight division he normally fights in is all i can say. Not taking anything away from Marquez when i say that either,
...yes he is, but i bet after some 300 plus posts you'll be banned for being racist. watch out dumbass.:good
Just hate for this thread to turn into a name calling contest to bash Mayweather, when I'd really like for people to shime in to appreciate JMM!
Agreed, even at age 36 with every disadvantage a fighter can have he fought every inch of the way, didnt give up even when he knew it was over. Amazing..
Bro, there would have been no shame had Marquez been stopped........as Mayweather said, "I tried for the stoppage, but the man is tough and can take a shot." Beforehand, Marquez had said he'd leave it all on the line, and he did'nt dissapoiint!
Of course with my heart, I was praying to God that if Marquez just kept on fighting, he might just walk Mayweather into an uppercut out of hell!
what venom:huh like i said i was simply saying the truth, but i wont cause people get emotinal and ****
Which rounds did you guys give Marquez if any? Or at least which rounds did he look most alive. I remember thinking in rounds 7 and 8 that Marquez had lost much of his tension and relaxed into counterpuncher style. It seemed to me that Marquez did best when he played the role of the little man and moved backwards, letting Mayweather come to him. He did worst imo when he was trying to push the fight forward, however, his combos when Mayweather was in the corner were often pretty good.
What's your issue with Barrera? I dont get to read a lot of your posts but I was always under the impression you stuck by your mexican fighters.
