Chris John looked spectacular up to the last round

I have mixed feeling about Chris John.
Dude is a machine throwing 2/3 punch combo's consistantly thu the entire fight.
But come the last 2 rd's like clockwork he looks ready to go.

I give John another 2 fight's before he breaks down.
(If he fight's another power guy with true finishing power)

As for Juarez, Retire bro... retire.

 

I agree w/15rds aswell.
But imagine a Katsidas going 15rds.... instant brain damage.
(All the shot's he takes)

 

He's a good fighter from the few fights i have seen of him but i don't know how he will handle the true elite.

Like i said, i haven't seen much of him but one of the commentators (British commentary) said John may have left it a bit late to come to America. He said John's peak was a few years ago and that he may be slipping a bit. Does anyone here who has followed John's career closer than me agree or disagree with this?

On another note, hats of to John. He was badly shaken at the end but was still throwing leather. Bloody stupid but incredibly brave.

 

Agreed. Juarez is a known slow starter, if ever there was one. Zorrita, Margo, etc...

 

I am totally agree with you BigBone! I gave john two thumbs up for taking risk in a brawled eventho his stamina was ran out n his left eye almost shut. And did you see his trunk? a tribute to his Idol..Arturo Gatti!

 

I again, totally agree with this article and dint fiin the fight boring in the slightest.

 

If they were fighting 15 rounds instead of 12, John probably wouldn't have fought the same way, and he probably would have trained for 15 rounds instead of 12.

he really did. he was completely neutralizing everything rocky tried to do. very impressive win for him last night.

 

rocky needs a title before he retires. this guy has consistently stepped up to the absolute best and always ends up falling short. he needs to take on a lightweight belt holder who isn't an absolute beast and retire a champion finally.
