I've been on ESB alot since last nights fight with Floyd and I keep hearing that FLOYD NEEDS TO FIGHT MOSLEY OR COTTO/PAC WINNER..

BERTO WOULDN'T BE A BAD OPTION...For 1 it would give Floyd a belt if he won...it would give him his 7th title as well...2 BERTO IS A NATURAL WELTERWEIGHT WITH GOOD SPEED AND DECENT BOXING SKILLS..HE HAS SIZE AND WILL BE BIGGER THAN FLOYD...I think Berto's size would be a problem for Floyd cuz of the way he fights....I know Berto's chin is shakey but Floyd would have a disadvantage in the speed category to even that out...

I KNOW THAT ALL OF US WOULD MUCH RATHER SEE FLOYD FIGHT THE COTTO/PAC WINNER OR MOSLEY BUT WOULD U REALLY KNOCK FLOYD FOR FIGHTING BERTO? I MEAN COTTO FOUGHT JENNINGS AND PAC FOUGHT DIAZ FOR HIS WBC BELT...WHY SHOULD FLOYD BE FAULTED IF HE CHOSE TO FIGHT BERTO???

    THOUGHTS AND PLEASE VOTE...:thumbsup

No. Berto is a WW titlist. That woulda been perfect for PBF's tuneup actually.

berto could make the fight physical and more so than what floyd wants and thus i think thats the reason he chose a less physical fighter like jmm....berto would be great for a next opponent...if floyd knocks berto down he could get the tko if he catches him flush..andres chin isnt the best!

But what would the greatest fighter of a generation (possibly), beating a WW titlist who would probably rank at #6 on my WW list, do for his resume!?!?!?

Berto lost to Collazo in my opinion.

This would've been a good come back fight, but proves nothing now.

:good It is if PBf only plans on having a couple more fights it needs to be either.

    Mosley
    Pacman
    or Cotto

    We want big fights.

I'm a FMJ fan but there are only 5 meaningful options - Mosley, Pacquaio, Williams, Cotto, Margarito. Unless he fights Pavlik :D

I'm hoping for a Mosley fight

I think Berto would be a good choice for another tune up fight, especially if he doesn't want to fight Mosley, which I think he should do before taking on the winner of Cotto/Pacquiao. A fight against Berto would get him in the ring with a natural welterweight, it would mean possibly regaining the WBC belt, which would come in handy for negotiations in bigger fights.

As we saw with Hatton if Collazo makes you look bad than Mayweather will probably dominate you.

The fans will kill him and never order a PPV event against Berto.

Can you imagine paying $50 to see PBF vs Berto.

    PLEASE.

They would struggle to sell 250,000 buys.

    YES.

Why go for Berto when Shane is all available. The more people will call him a ducker, and it will be very bad for the business. Shane is what everybody wants to see right now.

I wouldn't mind seeing it, but Floyd would kill him. Collazo exposed the weaknesses in his defense, and PBF would just exploit them even further.
