This is the new mantra of Floyd boys now. Floyd won against JMM based on his skills alone and size didn't matter in this fight.

Now, let us put Floyd against Pavlik, a guy 2 weight classes above his fighting weight. Who do you think will win? Size doesn't matter anyway.

I was surprised by the difference in size when both guys got into the ring.

Maybe we can discuss this if PBF CALLED out Pav.

Come on, everyone except the Klitschkos have called out PBF. That's where the big money is. JMM has only a couple of fights left. The guy wanted a big payday and hopefully got it. The weight issue is legit. Not only because Floyd is naturally bigger and stronger, but because no athlete can put on 10-15lbs in no time and compete at a world class level. You lose speed, and your power doesn't necessarily come up with you. Again, this was a bad mismatch.

Did you see the other Mayweather-Pavlik poll...it's a 50-50 fight.

Yeah, except Pav has been pretty much a true middle-weight his whole career. Floyd started at Super Featherweight, just 6lbs north of where JMM started his.

You cats are trying to hard to discredit Floyd's win.

    **** me, you're thick aren't you.

Check the way in which Pavlik boxes. A big banging puncher who uses his reach advantage to allow his long arms to deliver straight right hands to knock out the majority of his opponents.

Check the way in which Floyd boxes, compact, counter punching boxer who is less about power, more about speed and accuracy.

Floyd doesn't box in a way that utilises his size.

What happened to Pavlik when he fought people his size? He almost got KO'ed early against Taylor and then got butchered by B-Hop.

What happened when Floyd fought people his size? He beat them easily.

You mean before the fight you thought it was a 50-50 fight? I'm just trying to let the Floyd boys know that the result is expected and do not gloat to high heaven that Floyd made the #2 P4P looked like an amateur. JMM is #2 P4P in the lower weight and not in WW division. You guys don't want to acknowledge that.

If they fought at 140lbs, JMM has a chance (though still slim). Floyd will be a little weaker and hence the gap in their strength and quickness will get nearer. The result will not be shutout and Floyd will not look like the god that he is being adored now by the Floyd boys.

Before the fight, you had a tonne of noted boxing writers indicating that the Marquez fight would be highly interesting and that size would play limited part, that skill would be the deciding factor.

Typical, shift the blame. Since Floyd isn't getting his respect for the JMM win, let's discredit other fighters that have nothing to do with Mayweather.

He also had Taylor KTFO. BHop is a live dog against anyone. Don't forget he was also a LHW.

What happened when Floyd fought people his size...was JMM his size? Unless you're referring to Baldomir and ODLH. :rofl

Those writers must have been on the GBP or HBO payroll. I expected a 4th round KO and JMM did better than I expected. What was your prediction on this fight?
