I heard him say a few weeks ago that he was in the best condition of his life for a fight. Previously he never did roadwork , but he made an exception for this fight. Apparently he has not refrained from the " Tecates "
It really doesn't matter what weight Arreola come in at...Vitali is better in every way...Chin, boxing ability, defense, power, intelligence. Moreover, look at Arreola's competition...His best opponent is either C-level HW Travis Walker who makes Wlad's chin look like Mccall's OR Mccline who was pulled out of retirement and in atrocious condition. Not one top 15 hw and now he's moving up to Vitali. Despite this, his defensive flaws are obvious to anyone who is objective. His chin doesn't look too great either (Walker floored him and Mccline stunned him on a couple of occassions with one punch) I see it playing out one of two ways. Either Arreola walks into Vitali early and gets taken out quickly or he shows some underrated punch resistance and heart taking a Danny Williams or Sam Peter type of beating. Reckon I'll go with the first scenario. Vitali TKO 2 :yep
Agreed, but I am hoping for the second. I paid 200 bucks for floor seats and I want as many rounds as possible.
Brent, Actually, those are rolls of fat on his neck. That is lose skin from losing all that weight so quickly.
To be fair, in those most recent photos, Arreola looks to be alot leaner than he has been for his last few fights, good for him. But that said, regardless of his conditioning, he's just outclassed, outskilled, outsized, and out powered in this fight, so I don't see him seeing the mid rounds. Vitali will paste him with his jab/leanback/jab/lean back/ fire the overhand right...........until Arreola starts to swell and takes a onesided beating to the point of it either being stopped, or he'll quit on his stool, or he may be KOed. My pick is TKO, round 6.
