Mayweather's weight contrary to the "popular" notion had NOTHING to do with how he beat Marquez. How does added weight make Marquez land single digit punches in a round?? How does weight affect counter punching??

If Floyd bullied Marquez to the ropes using his shoulders and occasionally brought him back into punching range with one of his free arms, this point would have merit. But it doesn't.

Have you all describe it it was Wladimir vs. Jorge Arce.

That said I don't want to see this fight but I think Pacquiao is going to lose against Cotto. Should he win sometimes, Pacquiao's assets don't equals Floyd's and Floyd can easily nullify Manny's (predicable) left hand.

Additionally since Floyd is such this imposing monster, whats going to happen when Manny realizes he's getting TAGGED easily (Manny is easy to hit) and decides his "COME FORWARD" style doesn't work against Mayweather? Manny can't box or fight going backwards at all, now can he?? Also as Manny misses, he tends to get wilder.

Let him fight Mosley and Cotto.

I think everything depends on the outcome of Pac/Cotto. If Pac loses he might have a rematch clause and would end up fighting Cotto again if its a close lose. Leaving pbf and Mosely to get it on. If Pac wins he probably won't be able to make a deal with PBF and then would go after Mosely and leave pbf fighting someone else. If I was pbf I would fight Mosely and let Pac/Cotto winner wait for the winner of that fight.

    I'll tell you this much...

Its a fight I'f like to see, but no way in hell will I help support that PPV!

PBF will just be waste ducking, hitting & holding, elbowing, etc. I really don't think Pacman stands a chance, so why waste the $. I don't need to see Jr. win again.

That would be an awesome card that boxing fans truly deserve. Unfortunately more money will be made if they keep those fights as two sepreate pay per views.:?

I agree... after Pac KO`d DLH & Hatton (especially as he beat them easier than Floyd)... all we have heard from LOADS of fans & experts alike is how great Pac is & how he could be a real serious threat to end Mayweather`s undefeated streak.... now, because FMJ dominates JMM, we are back to the old `Pac is too small for Floyd` bull****.... honestly, some dickheads are never happy, they should be ashamed to call themselves boxing fans.

Either follow & enjoy the sport or STFU & watch tennis.... thats my view.

I would literally pay $100 to watch that.

Actually, no - I'd pay $12.50 to watch it in on a giant HD screen in the movie theater again. But I'd drag all my friends too and fill the place up. :yep :happy

I want to see Cotto vs Pac first. I doubt Pac will beat Cotto. I wanna see May vs Mosley and then the winner of that fight the winner of Pac/Cotto.

Why would anyone NOT want to see this match up between the former and current P4P champions of boxing. Both are unmatched in Talent and domination of their opposition. If you based your conculsion that this is a mismatch b/c of JMM performance, then you are loosing out.

You could go the exact opposite and look at how PAC dominated DLH and Ricky where Floyd struggled and took more time to get the wins. But there are key differences that you have to consider. Floyd and PAC are completely different styles....both are supremely talented but their common oppoenents do NOT give anyone insight to how they'd fare against one anther. You base their styles against one anther to figure out how they'd do or how they'd perform if they were to fight. NOT how one looked against the same opposition.

Hell no, Clottey looks like Akon with an inflated head. I just think it would be in interesting defensive fight to watch. But unless Clottey starts knocking people out he won't get enough demand from the fans to land a fight with money Mayweather.

I see this fight being very one sided in favor of Mayweather. Does Pac have a chance to win? Sure he does, an extremely slim chance but yes anything is possible. As a fan of both fighters I just don't see Pac's style being very affective against Floyd. I think there's better and more entertaining fights for both guys.
