    would be a great fight. allot depends on the weight. at 168lbs its Eubank all the way.

    i go with eubank, he was skillful but could seriously bang, and Taylor has been stopped by the two big punchers he faced. Eubank would also be able to walk through Taylors punches and make it a war if he wanted to. Plus on stanima, eubank wins every single time.

    Very, very close. Taylor is wrong for Eubank IMO. He's an athlete, quick, accurate, jabs well, Watson gave Eubank fits with these attributes, dropping a razor thin either-way type decision in the first one and dominating him before the stoppage in the second. Taylor has more of the stuff that Watson used to trouble Eubank, though less of the other good stuff Watson had (I pick Watson to beat Taylor).

    Close decisions tend to go Eubank's way, so I think I would back him, but this would be a close, close, close fight.

    Eubank was seriously under-rated, the guy had a granite chin and a good solid punch, his stamina in his peak was world class, if he fought in the super 6 tournament at supper middle, he would rule all over them. Glad to see Eubanks getting some love on this forum...

    Both have work-rate issues. I agree completely with McGrain here, it would be very close. I couldn't pick a winner confidently.

    Eubank, for one simple reason: He was able to make most of his abilities.

    Taylor is talented, yes. But the pro - Taylor crown always says before a big fight with Taylor "if he improves his stamina", "if he can stay relaxed", "if he learned from his mistakes in fight x" and then Taylor never lives up to these ifs. I have heard it before the Pavlik rematch, before Froch, now before Abraham. Taylor has the athletic talent of a true champion, but not the mental strength to go along with it.
