    A prime Roy Jones, even at a higher weight, was so much more incredibly faster than Mayweather he would have picked him apart and completely and utterly shamed him, even stop him (yes he would) that's how far apart the gulf between these two is - remember that when you proclaim May's greatness. Mayweather wouldn't even see Roy's punches coming.

    Scale these two fighters up or down, take your pick - Scale Mayweather up in weight he becomes slower. Shrink RJJ and he becomes even faster (if such a thing is possible). The result stays the same.

    Mayweather is good but Mayweather is not prime RJJ good. Keep it in perspective :deal

    Roy speed is crazy in his prime. But he at no point ever had the pure boxing skills PBF has. When Roy's speed was gone he got knocked out by lesser fighters who were still slower then him.

    It really dosent help that roy is so much bigger and stronger all I can see is roy breaking floyds arm in the philly shell he broke eric hardings arm and eric is huge
    not fair welterweight vs Lightheavy
    nobody was more entertaining in the history of boxing if thats what you want to hear

    I wish I could go back in time and watch every last one of his fights

    Roy didnt have great boxing skills just lighting fast speed and reflexes!! Pbf is the more complete fighter, defense, ring generalship, high boxing IQ! When roy lost his speed he got knocked out and schooled by Joe c.!! I think when floyd slows down he will still win due to his crafty skills!!!

    Thats a preety bad comparison Roy was a monster then ontop took steroids No Welter in any time could come up and fight him....Roid to Floyd would be Like Floyd to Prince
    Same Weight Floyd beats him nobody in Roys lifetime had Floyds Skill set at his weight.
    Tarvers a crappy boxer and so is johnson and they beat him.

    Ill matchup would been Prince vs Roid if they were the same
    Those High Flying punch from 6 feet across the ring mofos would put on a show
    it would end quick tho because they had the chin of Philipinos
