I think this show's fixed. Why would Rashad pick Nelson, the guy has a beer keg belly!!! Kimbo will dominate this chump you can tell this'll be over fast.

I reckon White's said to him "Listen you've won two fights now pick a guaranteed loss to hype Kimbo and the show. We gotta make this last, you can't keep winning every fight Rashad"

Nelson is arguably the best fighter on the show and leagues ahead of the four bozos that fought first. Don't let his lack of a decent physique fool you. He has OK hands and a pretty good ground game. He's not stellar at anything, but he's very well-rounded and has been in with some world-class fighters. I'd be absolutely blown away if he lost (and Internet rumors from months ago stated that he was, in fact, the man who beat Kimbo).

Note: I wouldn't at all be surprised to see this fight pushed off a few episodes because of "injury" or some other Dana White nonsense. At the very least, Kimbo comes back to fight again at some point. I can't see the TUF cashcow getting pushed to the background quite this early.

What I posted in the TUF 10 thread:

You just knew they were gunna announce the Kimbo fight a week in advance. I can't see him winning, Big Country is the most accomplished, expereinced and probably the most talented guy on the whole show. If for some reason Kimbo does get the better of the stand up, Nelson can always take it to the ground and end it there. Even if Kimbo hangs with Nelson for a bit and makes a fight of it, I'll take my hat off to the guy. That is probably one of the advantages he has that he has nothing to lose and Nelson does. If he makes a fight of it, that will probably be the 'reason' the UFC will use for having him fight on the main card of TUF 10 Finale.

From watching the sneak peak clip on the spike site, it does look like the fight will happen.

It's hard to believe White would allow this matchup so early.....unless it's some kind of setup.

    Weird.

Maybe he will get K.Oed by another jab.
His defeat at the hands of Petruzelli is one youtubes most amusing video's.

Sure, Kimbo was stunned by a jab......but why was the fight stopped when none of the followup punches lands anywhere on his jaw or face?

    Premature stoppage imo.

I dunno. Using my head and looking at both fighter's background I would assume Nelson would take this fight very easily. Then again, this season is gonna be nothing without Kimbo. Rating will plummet badly if he loses which makes me think that he might pull off the huge upset especially with the way Nelson looked like he wasn't take the fight very serious.

I'll have to say that Kimbo somehow pulls off the upset. I'd be surprised if they let him lose this early into the show. Otherwise I'd say Nelson by pretty much whatever he wants.

    Few things..

    1) At this point the 2 fights have stunk the joint out.

    2) Rampage dosn't know how to pick fights...

    3) To sell Big Country short because of his belly is crazy. He may not be a world beater but the man can fight.

    4) Rampage dosn't know how to pick a team

    5) If you have Wess Simms on your team. Why not use him in your first 2 fights if you can pick the fights? Simms wouldv'e beaten ((IMO)) any of the 4 that fought the first 2 weeks.

    6) Kimbo woudv'e been a better pick to be in the Movie The A-Team

Yeah I agree, this mathcup was a little "weird". It was like the worst possible apponent, the third episode to show kimbo fighting, and it is like a fight people would think would be in an event not on TUF, got to be good for ratings though.
