Do any of you have a pull up bar for your home? I'm in an apartment so I need one that doesn't require screwing in mounting. I've seen some on amazon but i'm not sure which to go with. Anyone have one of these?
Yeah, I got one awhile ago with no screws and it works great. Can't say I remeber where I got it though.
Was it just a bar or did it have a few other pieces to hold it in place using the frame or something?
I've seen them with just rubber to wherer you can put them in your doorway and they will support you and wont fall off..
Yeah, you can get those from Argos. That's no help at all if the original poster isn't British though I suppose.
**** i've seen them at walmart... Wouldnt recommend buying anything from walmart though, or at least when it comes to training equipment :good Point being, im sure if you go to a dicks sporting goods, or sports authority, any local sports store would probably have one.
I have a screw in pull up bar from argos. I moved and couldn't be bothered to take the screwed in supports with me and it works just fine without them.
don't invest in one if u can't screw it in...even the ones w/ the rubber end r supposed to be screwed it (i have one and have no where to put it). another major bad thing is that you can't just put it newhere u want, it has to be 2 sturdy walls. if u put it in ur door way like they advertise, u can't have a door there, most of the times even in the pictures they have taken the door off the hinges. do what u do though, that's just advice from me, a person who bought it and can't even use it lol
