And that is the problem Mr. Arreola is likely to meet face to fist this weekend, unfortunately. Heavy, consistent shots and not a lot of defence for them. I hope for a good, exciting contest but I'm not sure. Maybe it will be for a few rounds.

Vitali can punch extremely hard, but he fights with his brain, sets his opponents up and stops them usually around the 8th round or so.

Walker has enough pop to KO guys who have been knocked out 20 or 30 times. Against world class opponents with solid chins, he's cannon-fodder - or SHOULD be.

Arreola's chin is clearly shaky. Light-hitting Jameel McCline rocked him too!

Zakman, I thought you were high on Peters whiskers, and Jameel not only rocked him but had him doing a fancy dance and put him on his arse a fair few times.

    Arreola took McClines shots.

Doesn't matter if he has a great chin or a bad chin, he's still getting KOd.

I overestimated the quality of Peter's chin. It happens. The early evidence was apparently misleading.

We will see if that is the case here. My guess? Arreola's on the canvas within 5 rounds.:yep

    I was going to say.....

McCline had Peter on his ass three times....

I think this will be an early blowout, probably the 2nd or 3rd round.

Arreola has trouble taking the punches of 2nd and 3rd raters. A top level world class fighter like Vitali is gonna slam his shaky whiskers, put him on ***** street and bludgeon him to the canvas!

Agreed. VK has all the tools to make this a pretty one-sided affair. For me the question is what round he will decide to end it. He may have enough respect for Arreola's power to want to end it early... so we may see a couple of pretty exciting rounds.

I almost feel sorry for Arreola - his management has sold him out for the quick bucks instead of developing him further before throwing him in with someone like VK.

So if he gets KOed by a guy who will then be 36 wins, 35 KOs, hell be a top 5 china chin candidate?

    What nonsense.

I am very confident Arreola will not be knocked out cold.

Hey yo Chiko, I mentioned it. McCline had Arreola buckling with a few lefts on the inside.

Just look at Vitali at the weigh-in. He is ready to maim, murder, and destroy this Saturday night. He hasn't looked this ready to go in years.

Vitali is an excellent counter puncher. He will hurt Arreola and make him pay in exchanges. It will probably get to the point that Cris may go into a shell like all VK's other opponents and become content to get picked apart on the outside. VK counters the hell out of you, unlike his brother who uses a different skill set.

This is an obvious VK victory in the making.

Reminds me a little like when Dennis Rappaport put Cooney in with Holmes before he was ready, for the quick cashout. This isn't of the same magnitude, but Arreola could have used some more seasoning. A year or two down the road, maybe he wouldn't have had to go through VK.

The unfortunate thing is that an Arreola win, imo, would be better for boxing - at least in the U.S. It would generate a lot of attention for the sport. But it ain't gonna happen.
