great result for macklin but the fight never lasted long enough to tell much about his world lovel aspirations

u get the feeling macklin would have downed him again had he been allowed to continue.

should have allowed him to continue though. :roll: it's a european title fight ffs.

Guarantee if it was the other way round it would not have been stopped with 20 seconds left in the round.

 

I thought Asikainen should have been allowed to continue. Still, Macklin would have finished it before the round ended.

 

IMO it shouldnt of been stopped, especially since it was at the very end of the round.

 

agreed he was hurt.

probably would have got taken cos he was on serious ***** street.

but he was up and looking into the refs eyes at the end of the count.

His eyes were all over the place I think the ref was spot on.
