I knew better than to waste my money on such a fake fight. If not for the Mexicans, Void would have been more than void. Void is a fake.

So "hardcore" boxing fans are not ethnically, age-wise or geographically representative of overall sports fans who bought this fight?

Not sure how accurate this is but if the person conducting this study is being real with it, this study confirms what I said about the PPV all along.

    Absolutely serious.

The OPs problem is in his sampling methodology.

As has been pointed out by others, he is relying on self-selected 'volunteers' to report, and this negatively affects the degree to which his sample is representative of the total set.

Furthermore, he is limiting his sampling to the members of ESB who, as you have pointed out, may not be representative of the purchasers in general.

My response to Tommy related only to sample size, not methodology.

And as far as 100 out of a million goes, the sample size, while not ideal, is far from worthless.

500 randomly selected viewers would give an excellent picture of the whole set, with a good measure of confidence.

With a single variable question (e.g. are you male or female), and a sample of 100 out of a million, your results would be accurate to within 5 % , three times out of four.

If you up your sample to 500 out of a million, then your results will be accurate within 5%, forty nine times out of fifty.

All mix from different Hispanic origins

From 2 years old:D to 50 years old, about 12 people.

:happyMayweather is one of the smartest boxers of all time, got to admire the way he has put himself in the boxing world. Hes number 2 to Danas White marketing skills for 2009:lol:. Not always the best exciting fights the avg. person wants to watch, but they could surley convince them to buy and get viewers. I surely appreciate how he uses his advantages and skills to work in the beautiful art of boxing, which takes place from the beginning of the signing of a contract till the final bell. Mayweather is a true genious. Just had to say this.
