Sanders was an ole' ass man.

    Let me repeat that;

Sanders was an ole ass man - and Klit the Younger's KO loss to him is 2 rounds is inexcusable.

Q: Other than Klit the Younger, who had Sanders ever beat?

A: A string of BUMs, STIFFs, Tomato Cans, and No Hopers...

wait a minute, vitali has NEVER fought a mexican named chris either. he's been ducking mexican heavies for YEARS...and wait, he lost to CHRIS Byrd! He's terrified of that to

    Mexican+Chris=Scared Vitali

Seriously though, I think it'll be a good fight. Just make it a war boys!

Simple, because he owned a victory over Vitali.

The Klitschko's promoter had options on Byrd after his victory over Klit the Older. That rematch would have been EASY to make.

Your guy wanted no parts of Byrd...

    a) The fact that he was "dominating" the fight is IRRELEVANT. He still LOST the fight.

    b) The FACT is we don't know that Vitali would have won the rematch because he was to much of a chicken **** to fight Byrd a second time.

Not sure if you remember it but Vitali underwent shoulder surgery after the Byrd fight. Sure he could have tried to go straight back at Byrd without a tune-up, but why take the risk after tearing a tendon? Vitali lost to Byrd in April and wasn't fit for even light sparring until September due to the severity of the injury and surgery. He fought his first tune-up in late November.

This wasn't just a dislocated shoulder like many forum folks still believe to this day. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supraspinatus_muscle - A torn rotator cuff usually results in incredible pain and the inability to perform any sideways lifting of the affected arm. The minimum resting time (= no sparring or weight training whatsoever) is 6 months.

Give Vitali a break, he's not even close to the coward you're trying to make him.

I would not bet stolen or fake money against Klitschko.

Fair play to anyone who thinks Arreola can pull off an upset though.

I was not old enough at the time but I can imagine no-one gave Buster Douglas a chance of even leaving the ring alive prior to his fight with Tyson.

Are you really that stupid or is it an act?

FACT: We don't know what would have happened in a V Klit Byrd rematch because that fight never happened.

    1 + 1 = 2

    Now do the math, Einstein...

Vitali wins by knockout, actualy a body blow that chain reacts a fat roll wave upward
    into Aereola's chin.

i think he meant prove vitali ducked him. neither can be proven but vitali had little reason to go after byrd other than revenge. wlad took care of that. silly i know but that's how the brothers roll

    Isn't that reason enough?

Especially given that Byrd was the IBF title holder while V Klit was going on his Bum of the Month tour?

and it's the same reason tyson has gotten flack over the years. win or lose, many feel he should have gone after douglas. it doesn't matter that douglas was past his best days...to a lot of guys the REAL champs avenge their losses
