Most on here know that I'm not the biggest Cotto fan in the world and I think he lost to Mosley.

That said, I'm starting to feel slightly bad for the guy as I anticipate his getting beaten by Manny Pacquiao.

Cotto was the "next big thing" in the sport per HBO, and he is a terrific fighter. Yet, if he loses in dramatic fashion to Pac, combined with his spectacular loss to Margo (whether legal wraps or not), I'm not sure he'll ever be able to regain the luster he once had and I actually find myself feeling a bit bad for him.

    Thoughts?

Yeah, If Pacquiao is to knock him out, I don't know if he fights again. He's said he doesn't want to box into his 30's so I guess we'll see. My mind says Cotto beats Pacquiao in 12, my gut says Pac KO's him.

    HA HA HA HA

    Pacman won't win a round...

He should of stayed at Light Weight.

Cotto looked vulnerable against Clottey, and he just doesn't seem to have that same "oomph" that he did before the Margo fight.

I think Pac's speed could cause major problems.

You can't count out Cotto, he is a terrific fighter. But I feel like a bad Pac loss might do some lasting damage to his psyche and rep.

I think Pac will win, but I could see Cotto winning, too.

Cotto is the bigger and more intelligent fighter.

I think he'll win, and I don't feel sorry for him at all.

I feel sorry for him in regards to Margo using illicit hand wraps against him that may have resulted in damaged confidence as a result of the brutal defeat.

I don't however feel sorry for him should he lose to Pac. He still could rematch Margarito at MSG next year which would surely be a mega fight in New York and if victorious it could launch him back into discussion as a top tier fighter.

I don't think Cotto's stock will drop that much if he loses. Cotto will still be a damn good fighter. That being said I don't he loses and is going to win by KO due to some nasty body punching.

The experts say speed kills. I just hope this is not the case for Miguel Cotto. I would like the old Miguel Cotto to show up, the one that use to go to the body. Cotto needs a new trainer BAD.

If you like Cotto I don't understand why you are worried. Cotto is going to ruin Manny as a fighter.

I give Cotto a serious chance to win this fight, may be even a KO. But even if he gets KTFO, I will not feel sorry for him. There is an old spanish saying that says: If you feel sorry for him, you can ---- --- ----!!!!!

I have a feeling Pac is going to hurt Cotto early, and Cotto will get desperate and go to work on Pacquios nut sack. If he does this again, I hope he gets disqualified.
