I think Shane and Cotto have a real chance at beating Floyd~ call Shane a cheater all you want, its not like Floyd doesnt cheat in his fights in fouling, using his elbows, bending below his oponents waste, Holding and hitting.

and why do you think someone who thinks Cotto can beat Floyd is out of hand? anybody has a chance if they have a fight ask yourself this why isnt Floyd fighting these guys? why did he retire when Margarito Cotto was about to take place?

I have a theory as do many others, Williams was still round, Cotto and Margarito were fighting days after he retired, Floyd was in a corner, so he left, he only came back after Williams moved up and Margarito was caught up with the plaster.

I beleive Floyd doesnt have interest in fighting these guys cus his 0 is that important to him, you know what if he doesnt start fighting these guys, no matter how he is rated, no matter if he is undefeated he will be one fighter who had a wealth of potential and will be rememberd as one who didnt want to risk fighting a real welter weight

Pacquiao has fought black boxers before so don't play the race card. There are alot of posters criticizing Pacquiao for fight Cotto at 145 instead of 147.

Ok why is it Ok for Shane to say no to Floyd ? Floyd wanted the fight Shane said no he had excuses. I don't wanna hear about stepping aside for Delahoya he didn't want it plain and simple. He had excuses. You say Floyd is avoiding these fighters now but when he was calling them out they didn't want to fight. It is nothing more than a double standard. I don't wanna hear about now. Funny how everyone throws out Williams name when mentioning Floyd but when he called out Shane and the other welter weights no one wanted any parts of the guy. If you are gonna say Floyd didn't want to fight him you need to say Cotto and Shane too.

Floyd has been back for one fight end of story. Before we get into the fact that he didn't stop Marquez instead of hating on Floyd you need to give Marquez credit. When has he ever been stopped ?

Your probably right though I do think Ndou was smaller than him as well, still my point about Marquez Mayweather, is even with the extra weight, Floyd has had every single advantage and still did not get him out of there.

There is no excuse for Floyd to not fight one of these top welters, why wait it out to fight the winner of Pacquiao vs Cotto? you have time fight Mosley in December, unify with the winner of Pac vs Cotto, and then Take Berto out of there.

The only thing saving Pac and cotto head from Floyd in my opinion is Arum.

Yes Im sure, Regardless of hatton reach and height , Floyd moved up from 135 to challenge both Hatton and Cotto. Hatton being the undisputed Jr welter and Cotto the WBO , when push came to shove nether stepped in the ring with floyd. Instead they use the excuse they were not ready to face floyd at that time. Now I ask when is that the raining Champion and WBO champion, not ready for a challenge from a fight from a lighter weight class in-fact two weight class lower? Fan seem to forget Floyd had been chasing the bigger fighter for some time and never given the chance.

 

I agree but it was Cottos uncle that said they needed some more time, I think Arum wanted to build him up a bit more to genorate more money in the fight, think about it Floyd wasnt selling **** back then.

However he didnt keep Margarito Cotto from happening, seriously Floyd should have fought Margarito then Baldimor it would be more respectable that way then taking Judah who was comming off of another loss with a fake belt around his waste.

Hattons father said they needed more Fights Cottos uncle and arum wanted more time, Margarito was there for him, and you know as shitty as this sounds to most Floyd fans, its the truth, Floyd struggled with Hatton though he won every round he struggled with hatton at rickys worse weight.
