I'm starting to think this is a case of Manny going to the well once too often.

I believe Cotto is still young enough and hungry enough to pull out the victory. He'll be the naturally stronger fighter, and he will also be the more refined ring technician. He has the deterent power to keep Manny "honest" in the opening rounds. After that he is gonna start walking him down and timing him for punches.

Cotto struggles with the Margarito and Clottey types (also Lovemore Ndou at LWW) - physical pressure punchers, but Manny doesn't fit into that bracket. I expect Cotto to follow his game plan and either take Manny out late or else burn him down the stretch for a comfortable points decision. He will negate the speed advantage with precision punching.

I love both fighters, cant wait to see them throw down..... I dont feel sorry for Miguel if he loses, thats part of the game. Two fighters go in expecting to win, only one of them will. I cant pick a winner in this one its a great matchup. far better than Floyd/ Marquez. This is going to be an action fight, could go either way. If someone put a gun to my head I would say Pac by decision.

Ha ha. Good point, good point.

I like Cotto because I respect his ability. He's not my favorite fighter in the world but he's a terrific boxer.

I like Pac better and hope he wins. I think he will win, but I won't be shocked if Cotto won because of some heavy, well-timed shots.

I feel bad he got concreted by MargaCheato. He is never going to be the old Miguel, but that doesn't mean he still is not a great fighter that can't beat Pacman.

Clottey was tougher than people thought, so all might still be ok.

Cotto can definitely beat Pac if he can catch him enough. If I were him, I would work on the body attack.

If "Super Saiyan" Pac shows up, though, I don't know if anyone can beat him except, probably, PBF.

I think Clottey is a very good fighter.

Cotto has not been going to the body as much. At least he didn't against MargaCheato or Clottey.

Maybe against a smaller fighter, Cotto won't show his possible vulberabilities and will go to the body.

It's going to be interesting to see how this one plays out. Cotto has a bit of scar tissue now. Pacman could open up a bad cut.

Cotto is also a great fighter..but
I suggest you review all the previous fights of pac and the comments of his opponents after the fight. Seems you don't know him so well...

    cheers!

Cotto was cut in the eye for 9 rounds he had to protect his cut before the doc ends it.
So to judge that fight for clottey mean ya have no boxing knowledge. notice how cotto didnt go for the ko cause he had to stop to wipe the blood out his eye. he has a 80% ko rating he always go for the ko. but u cant risk a cut that can end the fight. he trapped clottey when he wanted and pounded on him. most was blocked but sum got him good he was shook and got luky cotto was worried bout the cut

i don't think that pac hits anywhere near as hard as margo "especially if there was something in the glove" pac don't have enough to keep cotto off. i see pac getting tko'ed in round 9

Pac will be bouncing all over the ring, throwing hard combinations. Cotto still has the advantage physically so no need to worry. It'll be a great fight.

I agree that was cottos finest hour...he beat a stud who noone wanted to fight with one eye ripped open and that makes him vulnerable...that makes him ****ing tough

i'm no pbf hugger by any means but after the jmm fight i think he will make pac look the fool if they fight. too fast, slick, strong you name it pbf has made me a believer that we are truly seeing one of the most dominant fighters of our era. that said i still think he's a douchebag cuz of his attitude. but right now he's the one on top.
