:bbbwake up man Marquiz is not a left over evry one can lose it's sports ,hatton VS marquiz a great come back for both if it happens okkkkk:bbb:bbb:bbb:bbb
if ricky is gonna fight again id like it to be marquez, there my two favourite active fighters,i think their styles would mesh perfectly,it'd be a foty candidate imo
Would be a great opportunity to see a great first ballot hall-of-famer on these shores before he retires!
I am surprised by how many people think Hatton will automatically get KOed, that no one is picking him. Hatton is bigger, faster and punches harder than Diaz, who JMM really struggled with the opening rounds until he started blocking better in the late rounds. I think JMM can pull out the win but it isnt going to be easy, it will be very competitive. People are underrating Hatton cause he got blasted out of there by Pac.
Whether it happens or not, it won't be until spring next year! Hatton looks to have put on massive amount of weight, thus will need time to shift it! Judging by the size of Hatton in recent pictures, I wonder if he will make LWW again? And if he does, at what price to his health? Taking on a guy like JMM is a comeback fight is risky, because if Hatton loses, then its well & truly over, time to retire for sure, no doubt whatsoever! People might say Mayweather took on JMM in his first comeback, but that's Floyd, not anyone else! I suspect, seeing Mayweather comeback, it could have given Ricky the itch to box again. I think we wil see him fight at least once more, but he needs to start getting himself in decent shape, but currently, he looks shocking. I'm a Hatton fan, but he doesn't look after himself at all!
You could call it a playoff.... I think Hatton should have learnt from fighting Pacquiao that going in there with no guard will end up with him on the deck, especially against a counter puncher like Marquez. I also think it would be a great fight for the UK fight fans, having the opportunity to see someone of Marquez's calibre fighting on our shores, he would get a fantastic reception, as did Barrera, even though Barrera was a shadow of his former self. Opportunities like these don't come around very often and it could be a good farewell fight for both of them.
I agree with you on that. If negotiations opened for a fight next year, Hatton should consider just getting into regular physical shape so that come fight time he doesn't have to shed tons of weight as the fight draws nearer. He looked really gaunt against Pac.
