Tough fight. I underestimated Arreola's punch resistance. With Peter under 240, the styles definitely make for a crazy fight. Remember, Peter went 12 round with Wlad (the harder puncher) and didn't go down though. Arreola's activity might be a big factor but Peter will have a willing target in Arreola. Slightly lean towards a skinny Peter (240ish or less). Arreola beats the plump version.
I don't care to see Peter in another fight again for as long as I live and I'll just leave it at that.
Sam Peter is a lazy bum, if i was him I wouldn't show my face in public. He thought I am rich now screw this training.
Peter will win for the simple fact that he will be in better shape. There skills are relatively equal, some say Peter quit against Vitali, not true. He got the same beating Arreola did, so he had no choice but to quit. But Peter is the bigger puncher and the natural heavyweight.
If they'd use pillows instead of gloves, Arreola would outbox Sam Peter 12 to 0. He's more skilled but often used power over skills in the past because the competition allowed him to do and it was enough. When it mattered, he tried a lot of different tactics vs. Vitali while Peter simply walked forward. The result might be the same, but the effort was different, and if it comes down to Cris-Peter fight, it'll show why. Arreola is simply better, but not only that, he's faster, he's tougher, actually I think he hits harder and he's definitely a lot stronger mentally. It's a punchers fight so you can't rule out Peter, but I'd say Arreola wins 9 times out ot 10.
This would be a fun fight. Who would go backwards in this one? This is what these guys like. Someone that just comes to fight instead of box
