Well, I'd lay this on Goosen. Promoters push for rankings within the orgs. I don't think he has done all that well by Paul Williams either to be honest.

For a one-sided fight, it was pretty exciting unlike last week's fake show. There's so much to like about these characters. Vitali is a gentleman speaking 4 different languages (well, his English is still not great), it's great listening to him, he's a great sportsman, but an absolute beast and a cold killer in the ring, and the opponents' corner are 'responsible' of not performing KOs because they were saved. Arreola, still the huge hearted KO artist, kept his humor and honesty despite the loss, and the post-fight press conference showed why this fight had much bigger potential, because it had two charismatic KO artist.

I'll give you some on the excitement scale. I saw at least one of the shots Vitaly talked about that would put most guys down and wondered. It looked good but didn't do much so I wondered at the time. When Chris would land I would just wait and see if it had an effect. I think a couple of first rate jaws at work in this one though.

One last thought on this fight 'happened two years too early'.

WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO THE MEMORABLE RING ENTRANCES? The Klitschkos always have spectacular entrances in Germany electrifying the crowd and giving a good show to the TV viewers. Hamed was allowed to do his show on HBO, wonder why Arreola and Vitali had just a simple entrance...

Here's last year's most memorable, Vitali vs. Sam Peter. ****, even Peter's walk-in was cool.

This was probably the first and only time ever in human history that a crowd booed at a hologram.

Arreola didn't look so hot after all... crying like a ***** and all that. Props to the guy for taking a severe beating as long as he did, though.

    VK is a machine.

BTW, stone cold killers don't always use massive power. Snipers use one bullet at a time. Not as impressive as a JDAM from an airplane, hardly even noticeable in fact... but fired by a stone cold killer nonetheless. As long as the target is neutralized, it doesn't really matter what weapon you use.

It's all mental. VK has the right mentality. I'd much rather have him watching my back that a psycho like Tyson.
