Cotto's got the chin to last 12 rounds, the skill to win in 12, and the power to end the fight sooner. My mind says smart money on Cotto, but I just have a feeling that, *Atlas New York accent* "Those old ghosts of Margarito my just be tapdancing in his head"

yeah, I rewatched the Clottey fight, and I actually scored it for Clottey by a point. I just think Pac can win this one on foot and handspeed. He'll come in bounce around and come back in. I don't quite know if Cotto has the style to deal with Pac's speed.

:think:think If this fight gets really close, you know the judges are gonna be leaning towards Pac. I agree.

I think Pac's only chance to win is in-and-out all night. Put hands on him and be gone before Cotto can fire back. Cotto has great timing but his hand speed looks to have slowed a bit. He may cut, but he ain't goin' nowhere - not after the way he stood tough with that cut against Clottey, the guy's definitely a bad ass with a champ's heart.

Cotto approaches his opponents much differently than De La Hoya and Hatton do. His training allows him to anticipate where his opponent will be. Cotto will turn with pacquaio and use the angles against him. Pacquaio will turn right - into a calculated left hook. It aint gonna be pretty

if you think the only way for a boxer to loose is a cut....youre a dumbass.....

either fighter can get TKO'd in just one punch....its a sport they call boxing.

PACMAN is a real P4P though....he dont duck 6 inches below the belt and run for 12 rounds. I know its a defensive strategy but that strategy is making boxing die. Honestly Klitsko Vs Arreola was better than Mayweather Vs Marquez.

People are being set up here to believe that Pac is indestructible and I'm loving it. Hatton or De La Hoya (of today) are not Cotto, even De La Hoya ran from Margacheato. Cotto is a worrior who fights through cuts and leaves it all in the ring. Pac and his Minions are going to be surprised come November 14 and I'm going to be spending the money I make. As far as the tatoos who the F**k cares.:good

I am torn on this one. I really think Cotto will win. People giving him a lot of crap for his two last fights.

1 - Margarito is a cheater. You don't "try" cheating in a championship fight. You are comfortable that you will get away with that crap.

2 - Josh Clottey is a hard fight for ANYONE. Nobody looks good against JC, even when you win.

Still, I think the Margarito fight changed him. I want Manny to win by SD, just so he can see FMJ and get the KO he deserves, lol.

SPOILER ALERT! DON'T READ ON IF YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW THE RESULT!!!

    ...

Freddie Roach predicted a boxing match and I can see why they want to box using their speed advantage and quick movement rather than banging with Cotto. PacMan is no WW, he can't allow himself to go toe to toe, Miguel will be hard to hurt with single punches and it's risky to unleash combos vs. a 160 pound, skilled punching machine - so, it's gonna be a boxing match, competitive but in favor of PacMan based on clean effective punching. Speed, in-out, side to side, upper body and head movement, limited aggression, countering opportunities, slow pace. I'm leaning toward the decision if Cotto doesn't get cut or seriously gas.

    I'm thinking it's a 60/40 in Cotto's favour.

I want Cotto to win this because certain people are saying Floyd will fight the winner, and I believe Floyd would beat Pac with his crazy ducking and diving the same way he beat JMM, but Cotto would be able to get closer and apply more pressure.

We're going to be in for a long night here brothers if both can handle each other's power. Cotto is tough, I don't see him going down at all. If Pac fights a smart fight he can pull this off via a decision. Too tough a fight to call, it can go either way. Whatever the result, I'll support Pac.

I think it will all come down to the fight plan and Pac man will have a great one devised by Freddie, and Cotto will have to come up with this on his own.
If Cotto had hired a Trainer who is great with tactics and fight plans I think he walks through Manny in a few rounds, but lets face it he is on his own, and Freddie will break him down and figure out every flaw........and Manny will do exactly what Freddie says to do!

I see Pac do what Margarito failed to do and that is KO Cotto with out brick gloves, within 7 or 8 rounds. I estimate.

I'm more worried about Pac's speed and movement moreso than a cut.
Cotto had a huge gash against Clottey and still fought on So i don't think a cut will give Pac the edge he need's here.
Cotto will fight on and stay Cool and Collective if he is cut like he always does.
