I thought the same thing!!! De la hoya still had a little left in the tank and a big Maybe for Zab!!! He tires in the late rounds and i fear that he wont make it out the fight like Hatton did.

ODLH and Zab would probably beat Collazo. Hatton did beat him, although the fight was close.

Dont tell me this is the new name on the list. Collazo, wtf. I saw his name put in as a fighter Floyd had ducked and I thought it was crazy then but even more so now.

Firstly the Zab fight with Mayweather was already agreed upon before the Baldo fight. They have known each other since amateurs and were good friends and the fight made sense.

Please tell me who Collazo has on his resume in W column which now allows him to be put up as a fighter worthy of being ducked.

He couldnt beat a now supposedly overrated, one dimensional club fighter in Hatton and was just beat again by a green and hyped newcomer in Berto.

    Collazo, LMFAO

Collazo's competition at WW has been better than Floyd's competition at WW:

    Shane Mosley
    Andre Berto
    Ricky Hatton
    Jose Antonio Rivera
    Miguel Angel Gonzalez

    Compared to:
    Ricky Hatton
    Juan Manuel Marquez
    Zab Judah
    Carlos Baldomir
    Sharmba Mitchell

Its not about Collazo being Floyds next opponent or ducking him!!!! Floyds ducking mosley and Collazo is just one of many top level Welter weight opponents Mosley has never backed down from. Berto beats Hatton good in my opinion so dont make it seem like these guys are bums not worth mentioning.

Void refused to fight Pac, Cotto, Margarito, Mosely, etc., Collazo beat Berto. Berto refused to fight Collazo again, of course.

Now this is too much of a hate for Mayweather i think. Judah, ODLH, Hatton are much more of a threat than Collazo IMO.

even now Collazo / Mayweather would be a potentially interesting fight. Mayweather has foughtonly one career welter (Baldo) at welter. Collazo could be the second. I think Hatton won fairly on points vs Luis but Collazo gets the moral victory because one more round and Hatton was dust, but Hatton doesn't belong at 147.

I'd say Mayweather has beaten better fighters than Collazo.
