How would these middleweights fare against the "four kings" Hagler, Leonard, Hearns and Duran and which, from these fighters, would you most like to see against them?

    Abraham ?
    Williams ?
    Taylor ? (undisputed champ era)
    Pavlik ?
    Hopkins ?
    Jones ?
    Calzaghe ? ( I know he's not/wasn't a middleweight but not that far off)
    De la hoya ?

    Mine would be Leonard v Williams/Calzaghe, Hagler v Abraham/Hopkins, Pavlik v Hearns/Jones, Duran v DLH/Taylor.

Hagler beats all but Roy Jones (I know he wasent as proven at 160 but he was great) and possibly Hopkins, but I would favour Marv. It would be interesting seeing how he would deal with the workrate of Williams but I think he could neutralise it. I would love to see him against Jones, to see how he would deal with Jones's skills.

    Oscar a middleweight? Since when.

And Pavlik dies against Hearns and Jones.

Serioulsy flawed question. Duran, Leonard and Hearns were not real middleweights, they all came up for the sole purpose of fighting The Marvelous One. On top of that, Roy Jones Jr. and ODLH are not really middleweights either...

Pavlik is tough enough to take a few one sided beat downs and stay on his feet

These things are always flawed from the start. During the era of "The Four Kings" Abraham, Pavlik, Taylor, Calzaghe, and Hopkins would have all been light heavyweights. Different weigh in rules, and no SMW division until 1984.

Today, Haglar would probably fight at 154.

Not against prime Hearns, and Jones. They would lay Kelly out. 10 count KO.

No. Hagler would be a middle in any era.

Haglar was 5" 9", and weighed 157-158 on fight day. Under todays rules Marvin would be an average sized light middle.
