I think the 24/7 series has been on long enough where the camps for each fighters know that they can do things to spicen up interest. The JMM **** drinking thing was not planned but it created a buzz. Since the fighters know the cameras will follow them for the last month before a fight, i see more staged acts to spicen things up. Don't know if the PBF food giving thing was planned to improve his image or he planned to do it all along but it's obvious that as more 24/7 shows roll on, there will be instances of fighters doing things to spicen up interest.
This. I watch 24/7 to get more insight of the life of the boxer, Isn't that what 24-7 is all about? If you want to watch trying hard gangster loud mouthed crack head... try tuning into WWE. It would fit your criteria much better.
Plenty of angles for the Pacman Camp. -Pacquiao sparring middleweights -Roach on pacquiaos extra commitments -Roach on pacquiao training in PH -Pacquiao taking out sparring partners -Plus all the usual pacquiao stuff (the famous intense shadown boxing, brutal sparring, ferocious mitt work) I really want to see if the will have sparring footage of pac with porter or henry just to see how he measures up in terms of size.
True enough, what Pac lacks in personality he more than makes up for with the craziness that surrounds his life. Especially now that training camp in in the Philippines. Personality isn't what I look for in 24/7 anyway. Floyd has tons more personality than Pac, but if nothing interesting is going on, personality won't carry the show. I'd much rather see the chaos in and out of Pac's training camp than see Floyd get a pedicure. :deal In the end though, the biggest thing I look forward to in 24/7 is all the training and sparring footage. That's the stuff that really hypes me up for a fight. And with HBO's production values, that footage is always awesome. (Which is why it sucks that they didn't show much sparring in Hatton's and Mayweather's camp)
So? what was so entertaining about the floyd-marquez 24/7? Marquez drinking his pissed is the biggest incident. Other than that part floyd was saying the same crap. Im rich, i train @ 1 am etc etc. I watch 24/7 to see them train. I could careless about their personality.
It is actually interesting in Pacman camp especially now that there was a terrible flooding that happened in the Philippines. HBO will show Manny swimming on the flood rescuing hundreds of lives.
get cotto to drink his own urine, pac to shoot some jeepneys, and pac's mom to choke someone and boom instant hit.
Yeah lets ask Roach to choke a bish, Make Pac's body guard on a shooting in a parking lot, Cotto to drink his urine with lemon and ice, Pac throwing money on floods so people would swim to get them, and so on... Seriously who need sh*t like this, 24/7 is about the boxer's preparation and life cast. If people really want loud mouthed crack head arrogant person, go change the channel on WWE. 24/7 isn't for you.
Im going to tune in!! 2 humble warriors will be showing how they get ready for a big fight! Just because theres not an ******* named money talking **** and acting stupid, It doesnt mean it wont be entertaining!!! In fact I loved JMM's scenes in 24/7!!
I have huge respect for manny, I never saw him bad mouth anyone in an interview! The guys all class... And as for cotto he has my respect as well! Im really looking foward to 24/7...... as for the fight, Go manny! Viva pacman.... mexicans for manny
There is nothing entertaining about Mayweather's personality. I've wanted to skip over all of his segments in all of his 24/7's
