Well said. Today, a perfect record means more than a few decades back. Most good prospects get 10-15 tomato cans before they face any real opposition, and are considered pushovers after they are beaten the first time. I don't think a perfect resume is as important as many think. Often this "perfect record" comes from cherry-picking the opposition, ducking the most dangerous contenders, and/or from gift decisions.
well said. Terry Marsh was the FIRST European world title holder to retire undefeated and is so often overlooked.

Yes, it was an awful fight, if i was Reid i would gone crazy:fire.. but Ottke have a couple more of those fights on his record!
Mayweather will be added to that list when he does eventually retire for good. Nobody will beat him. Not pacquiao not cotto not nobody.........and im sure alot of you agree
Ottke - imo. should be stricken from the list. He was not undefeated no matter what fairy-tale decisions he got in Germany. He is a disgrace and should be stricken from the list.
How can Ottke sleep at night? That ref was looking at Reid all fight trying to catch him on ****.:fire
i knew the byron mitchell fight was a gift decision but i've never seen the reid fight till now, that is shocking. One thing about calzaghe, he never got no gift decision. but technically he only held the ring championship at the point he retired, so does he count?
Didnt think the Brian Mitchell fight was controversial at all really..Byron just couldnt land effective shots.
