Clottey vs Quintana almost done 4 Dec 5th!

    over at the scene of boxing just read that both sides are very close to agreeing to the fight to be made....my money on clottey by sd...he was supposed to fight teak tough jesse feliciano in pr but it looks like this is gonna be scrapped so that he could fight on dec5th...i say clottey but quintana could fight as well..close fight to call i say either guy could win a sd

    I like Clottey to take it to Quintana, but should be a real good fight.

    another interesting 147 matchup.... i love this. Everybody is fighting everybody.

    i think quintana will do a good job here, im not quite sure who i think will win at this point, hope this fight is made!

    The Quintana that beat Williams would embarrass Clottey. Can't wait to see if that version shows up.

    thats still in the air, he's going to wait for the Pac/Cotto fight. If Pac wins, GBP has pretty much got a Mosley-Berto fight set for January, if Cotto wins he might get to fight Floyd:good

    Hmmm Clottey-Quintana good fight 2 skilled fighters. I think I like Clottey in this one, is this on the PWill-Pav undercard?

    I don't think Quintana would embarrass Clottey even if Quintana that fought the same way vs out of shape mohawk Williams.

    WHAT A FIGHT CARD!

    Pavlik/Williams: We find out A LOT about these two fighters.
    - Was something really bothering KP in the Hopkins fight, or were the two wins vs Taylor a fluke against a fighter with shot confidence?
    - Can Williams dominate without the massive size and reach advantages he has at WW and JMW?

    Clottey/Quintana: Crossroads battle with intriguing clash of styles.
    - Clottey always hangs tough with the A fighters in the division, but can never do enough to clearly win these big fights. Is it tough luck or does he lack the killer instinct needed to be a champ?
    - Quintana boxed the socks off of Williams in a major upset in their first fight, then got steamrolled in 1 round in the rematch. Which version of him is the real version? and can he keep himself in the class of the other top welterweight contenders?



    Throw a prospect or 2 on this card and it could be the best one all year. I know I'll be there.

    if this is gonna end up as a chess match fight then **** it i aint no ***** and i aint staying up 4 in the morning to watch 2 guys flickering jabs at 1 another for 45 minutes
