Do you think Vitali could break Foreman's record?

No. I think that Vitaliy is to injury prone and wouldn't be fully prepared to compete at age of 45 or more

Iknow it's unlikely but what if Vitali could stay injury free?

depends who he faces, if some chump is walking around with a strap and calling himself heavyweight champion of the world in 2016 then Vitali can do it. forget the injuries because he could take 3 or 4 years off and comeback.

Yeah it is possible. In 7 or so years the landscape may be really different though, and who knows how well he will age?

I could see an older version of Vitali winning the current version of the WBA strap.

I don't think it is likely. I hope it isn't going to happen. But yeah, it is possible.

He won't do it but only because he won't be fightin' at 45, and to those who say the division is weak now, let's say it wasn't really better when Foreman won the belt in 1994 as he got his strap by beating a glass chin Michael Moorer over one punch.

Michael Moorer has a glass chin because he was stopped 3 times? Foreman, Holyfield and Tua stopped him, big deal. Wlad was stopped by Purrity, Sanders, and Lamon Brewster. That is what I call a glass chin.

Anyway George Foreman, Lennox Lewis, or Evander Holyfield could be champ at 60 fighting trash like Chris Arreola and the other bums Vitali faces.

Holyfield has a better chance at breaking it.

Holyfield should have had the record when he beat Valuev.

I am a V.K. jocksniffer, but, I still have my senses too........... I think V.K. just said that he wanted to break Foreman's record of being the oldest fart to hold the title so people will quit asking him if he is gonna retire now..... Personally, I see V.K. fighting maybe 2 more times before retiring for good..... 2010 will prolly be V.K.'s last year as an active fighter...... He is already rich and famous, and he'll make the IBHOF once he's done.....

Even if he did want to, he wouldn't. No way his body would hold up for another 8 years.

first thing Foreman was linear champion when he ko'd moorer at age of 45! he defended linear title 4? times lost it against Briggs at age of 48? so the record is 48 years old!

If you mean alphabet title then Foreman actually defended IBF title against Sultz and was 46? years old! So the record is higher then 45 years!

  13. VK can't fight another 7 years without getting injured or losing - forget about that ****:-(...
he dosen't have Foremans power either..

VK is a good fighter but ****ing people are making him up to be some superman, **** his brother is more talented and has beaten better fighters than him, has a lot more power too...

Yes Vitali can do it. But Vitali will still have to stay active and nptice if he has any clear signs of deterioration in skills and reflexes. If the latter doesn't happen and he sticks around for the next 5 years or so then yes he can tie or break George Foreman's record.

He'd have to retire around 40 and then return, which won't happen. He's got too much money/sense to bother with that sort of side-show and has plans for a post-boxing career.

Could he do it? The way ABC's water down talent, yeah, probably.
