That is an exact quote from an interview on another site and it was audio, not print. So even Caiz got it wrong who had Diaz ahead by two points, that was wrong, but Hoy, who had Diaz ahead by eight points, according to Shields she got it right.....you just needed to watch the fight without the biased commentators.

He also said Paulie was getting 60k more for the rematch and that Diaz was getting the same and that was why they weren't doing it, that and the fact that they didn't want it in Houston where it should be because it will make more....

Gale Van Hoy got it right.

    According to Shields.

It's sad because he knows thats not true. They should just man up, admit Paulie won and try again. He would gain fans for sure, win or lose, including me.

They are afraid to fight Malignaggi again because they know they lost. They will not fight him again unless they have their favorite criminal judges.

I don't think he won by the margin Van Hoy had, but Diaz won the fight. Watch it with the commentators muted and you'll see that it was Diaz landing the significant punches while Pauli just flicked his jab out and missed it 90% of the time. I thought Pauli won 3 or four rounds clearly, especially when Diaz's cut began opening up.

I watched the fight scoring it on effective aggression, defense, clean punches landed, ring generalship. 8-4 malignaggi, if you were a relative of diaz i could understand 7-5 malignaggi.

Exactly, those are the only two possible scores by anyone that knows how to score a boxing match. I had it 116-112 personally.

I actually had it 7-5 Paulie and that was being generous given Diaz's aggression. No way Diaz won.
