I don't believe this. I read an article in some sports mag that said how much Brock could bench and it wasn't as much as I thought it would be. I believe it was around 480lbs.

  2. And don't forget, Angle did it with a BROKEN FREAKIN' NECK!!!

Not being funny but the big show is only like 225kg. that's not a big squat weight.

its essentially static strength....holding a weight on your back is way differeent than squatting it...still pretty impresive for the average man, but anyone who squats 150kg or so should manage that id say..

    when was that article written?

remember that when he was trying out for the NFL he was on roids and was a lot bigger and stronger than he is now.

It's not otherworldly, but trying to balance 200 pounds of belly on your shoulders and also lifting it off, even with help, is impressive nonetheless. We're not talking about a bar you can grip with rosined hands.

Lifting a 500 pound man onto your back and spinning him round is very different to placing a 500 pound weight on your back.

It's practical strength which is great to see. At least it is for me. Maybe why I like watching WSM.

That's true and I don't want to discredit John Cena - but the Big Show is considerably smaller than he was in 2003 when he had the run with Brock.

There´s Goldberg "jackhammering" a slimmer Big Show. Big Show's a huge SOB, but I don't see what the big deal is putting the guy on your shoulders. It´s not that much weight.

I also don't get why everyone is claiming Brock is god's perfect creation of a warrior human. He´s big and strong, but in the NFL and the WWE there are plenty of bigger and stronger guys. Bob Sapp also makes him look small(the fact that Sapp can't fight for crap is a whole other point). Pudzianowski is shorter than Brock, yet he's much heavier and slimmer(you can clearly make out his abs, but Brock has a little flab on him after he started doing MMA and I assume reduced the juice) and he's also very fast. Of course that guy is on insane amounts of juice... but so was Brock before MMA.

Bottom line... Brock is big and strong, but it get's a bit exaggerated, and if I hear talk about the pointless thing of fighters hands sizes again I think I´ll pee blood.

Doesnt matter what way you want to spin it Cena had close to 700lbs on his back. Thats not a joke. Brocks F5 on the big show was ****ING AWESOME! It broke the ring and im positive that wasnt scripted. But Cena had Edge and the Big Show on his back. Thats raw unbridled physical strength. To compare that to a squat is asinine as its not even a similar movement.

Goldberg along with Brock Angle and Cena was also another guy in the WWE who had awesome physical strength. It was pretty much that alone that carried his career as he couldnt wrestle to save his life. But to Jackhammer a man anything inbetween 400-500lbs?!?! Thats nuts.

  12. Yeah mate it was scripted, brilliantly scripted though :good

The physics mean that no way would all 4 ring-posts snap at the same time.

  13. Kane Tombstoned Big Show at his largest a few times, part of the move required him to be on only one of Kanes shoulders for a few seconds, that looked immense also.

Hmmm i dont know. As when can you guarantee the ring would collapse just from that one move unless there was something going on underneath? Anyway it was ****ing awesome. I remember watching that live and i nearly lost my mind.:lol:

  15. Yeah mate, something was going on underneath, that's why it worked so perfectly. Haha yeah was great entertainment though, I thought it was legit until I read a various dirt sheets & a shoot with Big Show when he was away from WWE.
