Well DLH beat Mosley once, beat Tito, beat Pea and Chavez (yes they were both past their best but only had one defeat each when Oscar beat them!!!).

I had him losing to Quartey personally and I don't rate him as having won the MW title, but all in all that's a better resume than Mosley to me. Oscar's celebrity personality has made him somewhat underated IMO.

Why in the hell do people keep putting Oscar as a top 40 fighter or better? The guy isn't a top 40 fighter he has too many losses against the elite.:deal He's certainty not better than Hopkins, Pac or PBF.:-(

bernard hopkins - 15-20 top 4 middle and the rest of his resume speaks for itself
erik morales - 40-45 Was always in pfp list throughout his career.
felix trinidad - 30-40 Got gift vs oscar but was a beast at jm and against rest of welters.
floyd mayweather jr. - around 10 Has fought top notch opp. dominated everyone except for still excellent Oscar and only glitch was controversial fight with castillo but beat him in rematch. Hes an obvious atg just cant imagine to many fighters ever besting him.
joe calzaghe - 35-40 great fighter, but legacy hurts cuz he fought jones hopkins past their best, also should have left europe long before ala Hatton.
marco antonio barrera - 35-40 just a microscope tad above Morales
manny pacquiao - around 10 Has jumped from 106 and is currently pfp(?) modern day Armstrong
oscar de la hoya - around 25 Mosley won first razor thin, and Oscar won 2nd. jumped from jl to jm,fought best comp and was robbed against tito, still beat a great pernell. only true loss was to bigger Hopkins, equally talented Mosley past his best with May, and washed up against pacman.
sugar shane mosley - around 25 Would be a great fighter in any era.
roy jones jr. - Around 15 Talent wise hes top 3 but he didnt fight everyone he could have fought, and was knocked out cold by johnson and tarver, even though past his prime just makes you think whatif he had fought atg and got tagged, its not like he was totally washed up when he got ktfod.

He beat imo Trinidad and Mosley once. Past prime but still game Chavez and Whitaker. I scored 116-112 his bout with Sturm. His most doubtious fight was with Quartey but it was close fight, and close fight ain't robbery. Add solid names like Vargas, Gatti, Hernandez, Camacho, Lejia, Carr, Castillejo, Campas, Mayorga...

And Oscar didn't had to lose to MAYWEATHER. I scored that fight in his favour but it was close fight so ain't no robbery either.
