Too small. Far too small.Plus he's been fed a lot of bums. I don't think he'll make the top four

Nigel Benn was one of the biggest hitters ever at 160, but he was clearly nowhere near as powerful at 168. It's a big jump.

More recent examples include Kelly Pavilk and Jermain Taylor not being as effective at the higher weight

Only Taylor? Kessler and Ward are better boxers than he's ever faced (Direll probably, too, for that matter) and have size/reach advantages on him. AA and Froch are a toss up in my mind with a slight edge to Froch as he's a better quality banger than the Miranda that almost took AA out.

All I said was "I'm confident he will not [win.]"

Very few people are picking AA to win this. I'll tell you the same thing I told Landshark: If AA goes 3-0 in his first 3, I'll jump on the band wagon and beat the drum right along with you guys. (But you have to allow me a short period of pissed-offness first:hey)

What impresses me about AA is that he seems to have the power and enough skill to pretty much KO anyone he tries to take out.

He usually starts off slow to set up a game plan but once he pushes the gas late, he's so successful at taking guys out. I mean he seems to purposely lose early rounds because he almost knows he's got the power to take guys out late.

I think he's the only one who stands a chance against Kessler personally because I think he's the only one that can defend against Kessler and has enough power to hurt Kessler to the body.

However I think he could potentially lose to a couple of the guys in the tournament, Kessler, Taylor and maybe Ward if Ward was on absolute fire.

Not surprised a fighter is confident going into the tournament. Absolutely nothing unusual about his statement. Will he win? Nobody knows. I can give you this, he has a punchers chance against ANYONE at 168.
