    Guys, never trust a Pavlik fan to say anything worthy about AA or any other fighters at 160 or 168. PAvlik is their hero, and he is the best ever to them.

    In my original post I ranked the participants according to where they stand right now. I can't say how I think they'll be ranked at the end until I see the first couple rounds of the tourney. I will however go out on the provebial limb here and say that if Jermain Taylor wins a wide UD over Abraham, he'll make the final.

    I agree, goin off resume it is Taylor by miles. Infact I agree with your top list 100%, goin off who I favour

    I think it's Taylors to lose, and he will lose it.

    Right now I also feel Jermaine beats King Arthur and faces Mikkel Kessler in the final. Ward or Dirrell could look awesome in the first round and I might change my mind. That's where I see it right now though.

    I would disagree. Two big factors you did not mention in the Calzaghe fight were Calzaghe's southpaw stance, and his edge in experience.

    Ward is orthodox, and is at a huge experience disadvantage--Kessler has more than twice as many fights as Ward.

    The big difference to me is the abiliity to adapt. That's to me why Joe took control of the 2nd half of the fight, and Kessler still gave him a great fight. I don't see any way in hell Ward can adapt like Calzaghe, or take those vicious upper-cuts Kessler hit Joe with.

    Kessler won't be bothered by Ward's power, and I think he will slowly break him down, even though I expect Ward to look good the first half of the fight.

    People coveniently forget how competitive that fight was, Kessler caught Joe with some great punches, he wasnt just a slow punching bag who got dominated. Ward don't have the tools to take on Kessler
