you are being ignorant if you think most athletes aren't at least 'bending' the rules when it comes to supplements, steroids and hormone use. Especially boxers.

Also, please tell me why a fighter desperate to fight the best is a bad thing? Yeah of course Mosley is desperate, he's a fighter willing to fight the best. Always, despite it marking his career with a loss. He would rather say he tried and lost than never tried at all mate. If Floyd had that mentality maybe he would have more fans.

Too much emphasis is put on losses these days. If losses defined a fighters all time great status or P4P ranking past, present or future, why do Ali (5 losses), Moore (23 losses), Robinson (19 losses), Hagler (3 losses), Greb (8 losses), ODLH (6 losses), Hearns (5 losses), Chavez (6 losses) - I could go one... rate so highly on everyones list?

Why do so many rate Manny as P4P#1 over undefeated Floyd???

Because it's on who they fought, a summation of their career / skill level and history. Their numerical record aint ****.

Floyd has a great numerical record. Great on paper... history aint kind to undefeated boxers though.

And you seriously think that Floyd is a natural 147lber? The fact that he had to pack on muscle and fought most of his fights at 145-146 and previously to this fight, never entered the ring higher than 150 doesn't tell you something?

At 130-135 against Marquez, Floyd would have been faster than he was, the skillset would still be present and if anything, the shot that Marquez got put down by would be more hurtful, Marquez wouldn't have the muscle and weight to sustain it as easily.

Floyd was a power puncher at 130, which most of you forget.
He's not been a power puncher since 130.

Fun interview. He got a chance to take a jab at Hopkins and Mosley for the post-fight antics in the Marquez fight.

Despite offering Mosley fights on more than one occasion, but that's all been done to death.

Yep. Shots at both Mosley and Hopkins. I like the two of them, but they really came at Floyd when he was trying to give his post-fight interview when Kellerman robbed the boxing world of what would have been a classic rebuttal by Floyd. Given their intruding on his spotlight, I don't blame him a bit for running them the way he did in CBS interview.

No one forced Marquez to gain weight. Floyd fought De La Hoya at a massive weight disadvantage, further proving that skills pay the bills. Marquez stepped into the dragon's den and got scorched.

Floyd would still beat him at 130? Fight would have been more competitive though because you seem to forget Marquez would be faster and hit harder as well. Evengrounds. But they were not for this fight because Mayweather is a Bonafied welter and has been for quite some time.
You know it, I dont see why you need to protect him. I like the 130 version of Floyd, not the 147 who fights 130-140lbers. He campaigns @ 147, so either fights the welters, any true welter, or he should go back down to the Jr. welter and actually make the weight. If he can?:yep

get outta here with this nonsense. Floyd is a legit WW. Just because he gained muscle to make the move up doesn't mean anything. He did it with time. I could see this argument being made 2-3 years ago but not now. Same argument could've been made about Mosley when he fought Hoya but not now, obviously.

Sounded like dislike of Mosley, not fear. Why do people assume Floyd's scared of this guy and that guy when he's never lost and has called out the above mentioned fighter and was turned down in the past?
