I'm no Floyd hater but he didn't do anything to enhance his credibility in his last fight by fighting Marquez and then coming in over weight. If Floyd fights and beats Pac (and sticks to all the terms of the contract) I can't see what more he can do to convince his doubters.

 

Test himself and prove himself . . . instead of acting tough using his big mouth. :deal

 

I can understand there wil definately be some out there who would still want more from him, but if im honest, i'd consider myself a Floyd hater at the moment, and so im judging it purely from my perspective. If he were to take on and beat these fighters i would give him much more credit. His last three performances were impressive, i'l give him that, but none of them were legitimate welterweights. DLh was above the weight, but he still wasent a welterweight at the time. So for me, i dont feel Floyd can at the moment consider himself better than Mosley and Cotto at welter. Mosley beat Marg, Cotto beat Mosley and recently Clottey, all genuine welterweight contenders. He's going to have to fight at least one of them at some point in the future i feel, because who else can he fight, after/other than Pacquiao?

 

stupid question, Floyd needs to fight the top welterweights, that would shut me up.

 

Not until he loses and after 5 titles at 5 weights they'd say, "See told you he was a fraud, and not that good!!!"
