Barrera and Hatton WERE in the prime. How can you say there not?? Just cause Hatton lost to the great Mayweather doesnt mean he isnt in his prime, and Barrera had the damn ring belt FOOL!!! Know what you're talking about before you go yapping.

 

Hatton was and is well past his best he never the same after mayweather fight

If Cotto doesn't solve the speed issue quickly, he will be obliterated a la Hatton.

That said, Cotto's timing is so good that he has a chance to deal with the speed factor. And, he's a lot bigger.

I still think Pac's going to roll but it will be interesting. If Cotto hits Pac right, then Pac will have big problems.

 

so what pac turned pro at 16 and is in his prime now at 30. people need to stop making excuses for fighters that lose. pac beat a prime barrera that just beat hamed, morales, tapia and kelly.

I'm definately going with Cotto in this one. Pacs performances against DLh and Hatton were both exceptional, based on solid gameplans and unbeleivable speed. The one concern i have for Cotto is his average head movement against the blistering speed of Pac. However if Cotto keeps his guard up, unlike Hatton, and makes weight comfortably, unlike DLH, id expect Cotto to take it to the later rounds where his punches should start to have an effect.
