best guy dirells fought is oganov, who is basically a super middle version of kiko martinez, who'd already been exposed by zuniga.

If he's not just putting this on for public consumption then this bodes very very badly for Dirrell's chances.

To have a chance he'll need to have cut out a lot of mistakes and not be doing a lot of things that he's done in previous fights. If his trainer has this little of a clue then he's ****ed, frankly.

Hye, IMO you are wrong about mismatch. I mean Dirrel clearly got nice skills but in this case it just isn't enought. I believe Dirrel gonna out box Froch for some time, but eventually Froch will get him, he will get him then we will see what's Dirrel is all about. Froch is as Tough as it gets.

if Froch put Dirrel away he will be the favourite for winning the whole tournament.

The Best and the Toughest Match will be Carl Froch Versus Arthur Abraham. Two tough mofos getting each other, I hope they will meet at Finals.

Dirrell won bronze in Athens iirc.

edit, checked and yes he won bronze, losing to Gennady Golovkin who then lost in the final to Gaydarbek Gaydarbekov.

I said in another thread that, Dirrell kinda reminds me of Jeff Lacy at this point, not in the style or fightgame but circumstances and the way his career could go with all these unanswered questions. Remember Lacy use to throw more combos, worked behind somewhat of a jab, and varied the speed on his punches. he now does NONE of that and is basically driving down the Highway called "Bum Freeway", lol.

Not only did Joe take Jeff's soul that night, but every fighter gets to study tape of Joe yelling, "he can't punch for ****"! Just like Douglas did to Tyson, the auro of invincibility goes out the door when another fighter thoroughly takes you to school and lays the blue print for others. So now we're left with a guy that is a shell of his former self, but the problem is that his former self wasn't even that seasoned.

This could happen to Dirrell if those questions about him ain't answered against Froch, If he's a fraud like Lacy was (although he's getting nowhere near the same hype so the expectations are not as high) then Carl takes him to Ambien land.

Woah, woah, woah! Kessler's got Calzaghe, Beyer, Mundine - Froch has got Taylor and Pascal. One was seriously shop worn and the other hasn't done enough to say how good he's going to be in the future.

Beyer was an established titlist, Mundine isn't amazing, but is a solid solid fighter and obviously Kessler was competitive with Calzaghe, who is the best SMW of all time.

    Kessler's slightly ahead right now.

Many American fans are picking Dirrel to easily knock Froch out. Dirrel is over confident, he believes it will be a very easy fight.
