Fighters with serious, world class power who's KO ratios and knockouts in general sucked because of poor delivery, timing, whatever.

Bonecrusher Smith was a brutal puncher. You can argue no one shook up a prime Tyson at all, not like he did anyway.

He has one of the nastiest, and rare single shot body blow KO's among heavyweights against Jeff Sims and in general was touted as a extremely hard puncher.

Now compare that to a fighter of the same era like Witherspoon... I have no doubt he didn't hit as hard as Smith on a raw level, BUT his delivery and technique was superb.

His one shot murder of several fighters is remarkable. He nearly killed James Broad, sparked Jorge Luis Gonzalez, hit iron chinned Ray Mercer so hard he lifted Ray's feet off the canvas... And there was a HW he hit with a overhand right whom he knocked unconscious with one shot in the 90's I believe...

    So, who?

Tony Galento, hands down. His punches looked like slow arm punches but they still knocked people out or floored them.

Chris Warren is so fick he typed SIX words, also, Foreman's delivery was good enough that he's one of the best Heavyweight punchers ever, his delivery added to his power (Warren has me on block so can't see this, but what the heck)

Bonecrusher also wiped out Bruno in spectacular fashion.

Ummm........I don't have much to add to the conversation, can't think of anyone off the top of my head.

Good thread though. Junior Witter is one that comes to mind, when he timed his opponents well he hurt them badly, but he was usually content to be awkward and box.

Chris Eubank has a seriously low K.O% but I think that's due to him not going for the kill in a lot of his later fights.

Now I know Warren is a pseudonym, the whole 'word for you' gag is now stale and poorly executed.

Either that or he is a complete tosser, probably the latter in all fairness.

I agree with Bonavena. Reports suggest he was massively strong.

Possibly Valero, though I won't buy his powr until he knocks out a decent opponent.

His technique is shocking, he's slow as **** although trolls claim him the fastest thing since Usain Bolts curry-fuelled diaoreaha.

Juan LaPorte's power was all too wasted and shows in his percentages.
