Is a single person on Earth picking Dirrell to win this tournament?

Given his skills, it wouldn't be out of the realm of possibility that Dirrell could somehow win but his relative lack of experience isn't an intangible you want to take into a tournament of this magnitude. His initiation into the big leagues just happens to be his fight with Froch. Had he managed to fight and defeat a name fighter prior to this I'd give him more of a chance. Even Ward got the Miranda fight in. Dirrell is the green fighter in this group and that doesn't bode well for him.

 

You know the best thing about this tournament is watching Kessler finally prove something other than getting credit for going 12 with Joe C. I have a feeling and I could be wong hat he isnt as good as everyone thinks.

 

My choice is Kessler... I don't really know Dirrell... I've never seen him fight so I'm biased

My pick is Kessler to win this tournament...but if Dirrell looks the goods against Froch he will become a favourite in my eyes.

 

Certainly he believes in himself. There is also his family, no? :think

 

Out of the 6 fighters I have him 6th. Maybe he'll surprise....but I doubt it.

I have him above Taylor, because Taylor seems so busted now, but he's nowhere near being favourite to win.

 

Honestly I think Dirrell has a better chance to win than AA does.

No way Abraham beats Kessler or Ward.

**** I dont even think Dirrell himself believes he's going to win. He stated in the ****in' commercial that "he'll be in the finals" ...that wasn't a "I will be the winner of this tournament" it was a "I'll show that I was much better than most people thought, but won't make it out alive"

 

I got dirrell by ud,froch will be looking for the ko,but dirrell will out-fox him all night.

its quite possible that dirrells skills might be overrated since he hasn't really tested them against any elite fighters.

 

I pick him to beat Froch, but Kessler would destroy him.

 

I haven't seen him fight so will reserve judgement until then, I will have a lil scout around on Youtube. By all accounts he's a slippery customer, but he can be knocked over. Hopefully he's not just someone who runs away from people for 12 rounds sticking out the odd jab.
