    Haglar is one of my all time favorites. He is also seriously over rated by fans who would rather wax nostalgic than contemplete the facts. It took him two tries to beat Antuefermo. Hopkins would humiliate Vito and so would Taylor. Pavlik would simply destroy him 3-4 rounds.

    I hope you mean Antuefermo and not Hagler? Hagler and SRL would win against any active fighter in MW with ease.

    Whatever you think about his chances against pavlik, I think you have to admire Williams attitude. The guy just wants to fight the best between 147-160 ( maybe even 168 which I think might be a bridge too far personally ) and is happy to go in with other avoided fighters like margarito and wright.

    Can't wait for this, excellent couple of months for boxing fans !

    Ya -- of course I meant Vito. However, Haglar gets over rated more often than any other old time fighter. That era was my favorite era of boxing, and Haglar is one of my all time favorite fighters. It still bugs the hell out of me when people try to make these wild ass claims that Marvin would just walk right through any recent middleweights. Bernard, Jermain, and Kelly are all freaking huge compared to 5' 9" Haglar who usually weighed 157-158 on the day of the fight.

    During most of Marvin's career there was no SMW division, and under the old weigh in rules Bernard, Jermain, and Kelly would have all fought at light heavyweight. Marvin never went near that division, and there are good reasons for that.

    We best get this in the UK, hopefully they will just make it part of the Khan PPV, I won't be paying to watch Khan without a proper PPV name on the bill.

    Otherwise I'll have to go round my mate ******s who usually finds a way to get the fights.
